Vienna and Dancing with Tears in My Eyes, are the only songs that I know. I might have heard some of the rest but not realised who they're by.

Or perhaps they prefer the John Foxx era over this compilation.....

I draw comparisons to Roxy Music, two credible bands turned pop crap.

I also never realised that Ultravox started off as quite a different band fronted by a different singer and moved in to Electronica before Midge Ure.

Anyway here's a band I found out about today, I really like them, the genre is Math Rock/Pop whatever that is >

Just thought I'd squeeze that one in, a new band not well known yet, just like Ultravox were once.

Ah yeah I do know that one. Every band had a Yamaha DX7 synth in those days, nice to see the rare OSCar synth though and a PPG Wave 2.2, sorry gone all synth nerdy :p

I like the PPG sound way more than the DX7 >

Thanks for the Signals link, not a bad tune.

Heat from me. Some great songs on here. Underrated band. For me, Vienna was their worst song.

True and John Foxx - unlike Ultravox - is still coming up with fresh and original electronic music to this day, even if commercial success always eluded him.

For a couple of extra quid I'd recommend buying this instead.
