Another of our extremely popular Umax DVD players with DivX compatibility, the Kazuki DVD-7600XTV includes a built-in DVB-T (Freeview) tuner.

An integrated Freeview tuner is an increasingly popular choice for those wanting to upgrade to digital, and benefit from up to an additional 40 TV and 24 radio channels.

The DVD-7600XTV also adds functionality by supporting playback of music and image files directly from an on-board memory card slot or USB port.

As with the previous Umax models, this player is region-free out of the box and supports MPEG-4 and DivX playback and features Progressive Scan. It has composite video, S-Video and component interfaces, while coaxial digital audio out also means that you get extremely good sound quality.

Doesn't say. I guess must be USB 1.

Pity you can't play video off the USB, it's pretty good otherwise.

you can play video off usb one... i got one of these when they were £37...

my only real issue with the bix is no Mheg5 ie interactive/text.

epg is a bit clunky but does the job

Really? It only says images and music of USB. If that's the case, I might get one for the bedroom.

I have one a few months old - works flawlessly with all video types from all sources: DVD/SD/USB ...

I want to know whether it will work with a USB hard drive ...

it should work fine as long as its formatted using FAT file system

If only it had HDMI this would be right up my street! :-(

i've had one of these a few months (was £27 I think with the google checkout offer at the time?) and the USB is great for divx video, only one thing out of hundreds i've tried didn't work... good quality picture too (I saw the entire series 1 of Heroes on it without any issues). Make sure you identify your files in the first few characters of the titles though, as you can only see about the first 8 characters on the USB screen.

Be warned though, the dvd drawer is very flimsy...I did have to send my original model back to be fixed (it's ok now though).

The freeview and radio work fine, though it's not the most user friendly to use (you have to cycle through dvd, usb and SD to get to tv, then select that or radio from another button).

I couldn't get my Creative Vision M 30gb to work with the USB, but that may be working with NTFS instead of FAT.
