Umax Kazuki DVD-2800X MPEG4/DivX/DVD Player is available @ ebuyer for £24.99

99p shipping this weekend on orders over £30.

Description : Another of our extremely popular Umax DVD players with DivX compatibility, the extremely slim-design Kazuki DVD-2800X adds functionality by supporting playback of music and image files directly from an on-board memory card slot or USB port. As with the previous Umax models, this player supports MPEG-4 and DivX playback and features Progressive Scan. It has composite video, S-Video and component interfaces, while coaxial digital audio out also means that you get extremely good sound quality.

I have had one of these for a few months from SVP, the only complaints are the DVD tray is VERY flimsy, it nearly buckles under the weight of the DVD, and the remote is crap from more than a few feet away.

Thanks for the info... was planning on this, this better to stay away. Lidl one seems better nevertheless.

good god no , don`t get the one from lidl , i took two of them back yesterday , the usb is useless on the thing , it won`t play all formats , in one word terrible , if you can afford it i would go with the philips dvp5960 , worth every penny.

I have a slightly more expensive umax and it's a wonder player! plays every format you throw at it so if the chipset is the same then so will this.

I agree, took back the lidl one within a day, remote broke and dvd+r wouldnt play, if u have the extra £15/£20 depending on which sainsburys you live near I would genuinely recommend it:thumbsup:
