Yes, i think its just assumed nowadays that the come with a remote so they dont add it with the description, have a look at this £1400 pioneer, no mention of a remote

I dont think anyone is expecting a Panasonic/Sony full HD experience, but what you get it a great deal for the price, great for use with Xbox 360/PS3

That's where you're completely wrong. They don't even have sufficient ports on the TVs so you can't connect using component.

So HDMI or Scart doesnt work:roll: think you should read the description before saying someone is "completely wrong"

What are you talking about? Ive got my 360 hooked up to this tv using component cable.

Thie tv is fantastic for its price, only bad thing I can say about it is no headphone output so my bro has to put up with me watching movies at 1am while hes trying to sleep lol.

I have a very similar model that I got from Makro for £175 in January.

It is a very good model and not tinny sounding like most LCD models at this price/size.

The only problem I had was in getting my PC to register that it was capable of 1920x1080 display.
In the end I had to edit some registry settings for it finally to work.

I would recommend it.

I assume you mean Line of Sight?

If so I have one of these TV's and its no better or worse in this respect than the remotes for my oher Tv's/ boxes I have around the house including Sony and Panasonic products. It most definitely is not wired. The main drawback with the remote is that its too sensitive and for example if you press 1 you get invariably 11 if not 111!

I use this set as a bedroom Tv and not as a PC Monitor.

As someone else commented its Freeview sensitivity is excellent, but its analogue sensitivity is poor.

For some reason although its a TN panel its viewing angles are better than other TN panel LCD's but not up to the standard of the panels used on larger LCD's.

Finding it hard to find the right word but the picture is not as perhaps " lustrous" as the other 22" cheapo LCD I have in the kitchen. Although the the manual says you can adjust colour temperature this is greyed out in the personal settings menu. (An e-mail regarding this to the e-help address given in the handbook came back as undeliverable)

Also the menus and programme info are too small to be read unless you are very close.

The connections on this TV are on the side so connecting leads tend to be visible as thay stick out to the LH side. E.G my aerial cable is clearly visible as was scart when I connected a DVD payer to it one night.

I paid less for it about 6 weeks ago £153 inc Code and Quidco

Most people like to have line of sight to their TV's.

Saw one of these in tesco yesterday it was fed the BBC HD feed and the picture was still awful.

Bought similar model from Makro for £175, also included a built in DVD player which plays all formats i've tried so far, and very pleased with it; really good set at a reasonable price:thumbsup:
#34
I bought the same with dvd player in built recently from Tesco direct and collected in store. I use it watch the occassional divx cd but use it mostly to watch freeview. I am extremely happy with the value for money. 3 year warranty is available for around £30 I believe.

I get about 80% signal in my flat and the picture is awesome, first thing I watched was finding nemo as it happened to be on the day I got it and the colour / clarity was brilliant. OK it's not going to set any benchmarks but I paid £141 for it using a £9 off voucher at the time, bargain!
