Nice. Lots of nice things built in.... except, no mention of SCART sockets???

This looks like every good deal.

Would my kids be able to plug the old video player into this to watch video's as well, do you think?
#3
tried searching for more specs but could only find another model which did have 1 scart socket so guess this will have too

Looks good, but only a tenner cheaper than ebuyer. Less once postage is factored, so not too amazing.

Anyone know of a decent sub £90 TV, for use as a montior as well? Buildin my GFs son a PC to start high school, but not got room for his TV as well as a monitor!

I'd much rather have a dvd player and no ipod dock for a tenner less. This looks just like the Tesco one for £185 just with a different badge. My Mum bought one of those and it's excellent for the price, so for £139.99 i'm definitely gonna get one.

The one with the ipod dock also appears to have speakers in the base? Probably means you can't wall mount it, not positive though.

Been looking at this today and a 19inc LG from Richersound

For £10 more I get a 5 year warranty, but a smaller screen.. DVD doesnot bother us. I love long warranties

Found unless you were looking straight at it, it was disappointing. is there normally a difference between a 19inc and 22 inch in viewing quality?

Also have a 19 Inch UMC for £89.99 in clearance

Not trying to be funny. Was looking for a decent 19 inch until this popped up.Judging by past pricing 22 inches dont pop up for this price normally.

Just to let you know I bought the 19" UMC a few months ago which was about this price from Tesco.

In fact I had two of them as the first one ended with a faulty freeview and the replacement ended up having a faulty DVD player. Each time the fault arose after about a month's light use.

Took them both back to a Tesco store. On second occasion complained that it really shouldn't happened twice and the assistant admitted they'd had a few come back.

Okay, it's not the same box and maybe it's even a newer model. But personally I wouldn't go for this after my previous experience.

The deal is hot, but the quality of what I've seen of UMC is suspect, so not voting this time.

What kind of site is that? Is it a joke site? It's incredibly insulting to women. I'm just surprised if it is a real tech site.

I'm not a woman (last time I looked anyway - so don't call me Loretta!) and that site is insulting to me too. Pile of sh*te!

Sorry for the sarcasm! You make a fair point to be honest, my mate has had three from Tesco within three weeks. Yes, it's the same one but had to return it twice because of faults developing. Guess what? The bloke in Tesco's said that they'd had a few of these returned...It may not be the same make underneath that 'clever' branding but I'll bet it is! So yes, they don't normally sell at this kind of price and I wonder why! I don't mind buying lesser brands I suppose you're always taking a chance. A warranty's all well and good but travelling back and forth to the store, or the Post Office gets a bit tedious after a while.
