It's free if you put 4 of the cheap ones in the basket :)
#7
Just need a PSP now
#8
Picked up The Matrix, The Island, Superman Returns and V for Vendetta. Great find, rep added.

Make sure to pick up 4 for the super saver delivery

Many thanks for a great find!

As above, finally UMD movies at a reasonable price!

Would definitely vote hot .... if only I knew how to do it!
I presume you just click on "hot" - but nothing actually happens, the screen returns as normal, and when I do it a second time I don't get any message telling me I have already voted. Have I just voted hot twice?

Good deal personally though:

If I wanted to watch any of these it wouldnt be on a psp screen so I would have them on DVD and just convert them to a watchable format for my psp
#12
Yeh umds are ok but the thing that annoyed me was the price and the fact you couldnt hook up to a normal tele
#13
Ordered all the Matrix movies. I think it's worth keeping them
#14
Voted hot and rep left - great spot

you can if you have a ps3.
#16
Harry Potter ones all appear to be £4.97 now??? But I could've sworn they were £3.97 just a few minutes ago!

EDIT - they all appear to have gone up to £4.97, including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory that I DEFINITELY added to my basket at £3.97 but which is £4.97 when I looked at the basket :(
#17
yeah almost all titles that were £3.97 gone up by £1 now......
#18
Couldnt you get most of these at about the £5 mark by now??

Seen loads of sales for the things ever since they effectively died a death.
#19
I think it's probably now better and cheaper to buy them on DVD and use PSP Video 9 or similar to convert to PSP format and put them on a memory stick for the kids to watch.

Great post, you forgot to add on "The Goonies"-its £5.97, but i love the film. Not sure whether to buy it for the kids, or for myself.

I can hook up my PSP to my PS3 and watch movies on my PSP wirelessly, but not the other way round.

I too would be interested in how you do this sarbjeet.

yh i know, but theres only 1 i really want and with postage it comes to over a £5.
#25
sorry not through ps3 but by this pc to tv cable heres the article i read http://forevergeek.com/psp/watch_umd_movies_on_your_tv.php
#26
they are going to stop making umd films this year , sony claim that apparently they are too expensive to make , and they confirmed that production of these films will stop shortly , having said that why do people buy these is not just easier convert a film yourself and put it on to a memory stick to watch not to mention cheaper?
#27
how many films approx can you put on a 4gb memory stick?
#28
But wouldn't the space you use up on a memory stick be more expensive than owning a UMD? I mean, if you can fit 2-3 movies on a 4GB memory stick costing £45+, it will be around £20 a movie?

Gosh, now I sound like my maths teacher

Hmmm..
#29
4gb memory stick is £30. if you can only store 2-3 then umds are better saves converting works out cheaper.

I can get 4 movies on a 2gb with room left for saves and pics, so you can get 8 on a 4gb.

4gb for £30 means its £3.75 per film (8 total), but uve got to factor in the effort of actually converting and transferring. But there again its better than carrying a stack of 8 umds around! E

Each to there own, but this isnt a bad price.
#31
Most of the movies that Amazon increased to £4.97 are back down in price to £3.97 already. Emailed them and they've agreed to refund £1.00 in accordance with their pricing policy.

#33
i can't seem to get the discount after putting 3 in the basket

Shouldn't it be £20 if delivery is free?
#36
Has anyone who ordered these on the 7th actually received them. This is when i ordered mine and the dispatch date was supposed to be 14-21st. So i've sent an email asking if the order is likely to be dispatched. Just seems a bit rediculous that its taken 2 weeks to pick an item off a shelf, when the item was in stock and would have been with me next day, if i'd selected to pay for the delivery.
#37
they should refund you the delivery if you dont recive them in the delivery schedule.
#38
Yes, but i chose the free supersaver delivery.
They have emailed me back apologising, due to orders, less stock blah blah, they have upgraded my order to first class post, but put the delivery date back so i'm not going to receieve the order til the 7th june.:-(
#39
i sent them an email and they gave me £2 wow i no. and now 3 out 4 of da umds are being sent.
