Mehh... competitions used to be free, now they want you to pay for those too. :(

Bangood have a habit of making false cheap offerings, even when supposedly unrestricted.

Bait advertisers.

How many people have you asked?

I have been pondering over these Chinese phones for some time. I used to love paying for latest and greatest phones but with the cost of contracts and the speed at which the newest phone is released, phones soon become out of date and that really annoys me. These Chinese phones are great because if they pack in after a few months then so be it. I will be trying to purchase one of these tomorrow but if I don't I will be purchasing one pretty soon.

Great find op. Have some heat.

Not a chance in hell anyone will get this.

Out of curiosity, would anyone be able to recommend a Chinese phone that has a better spec than the Huawei P8 but comes under £150 from one of these Chinese sites?

Not too good to be true, you are just not reading it properly...

Limit of 1 unit sold at this price when the timer hits 0
The first person to press buy gets it at the advertised price, the others will likely end up with the item in their shopping basket at full price. That is why I was calling it a competition.

I have a Doogee, X5Max-pro, 5" phone. Quad core ( or is it octa?" twin sim, expandable memory, Android 6, fingerprint. Nice, apart from since I upgraded, it doesn't connect to internet via sim card. One sim reports ( Mobile network dissconnected) and the other ( Out of service) any ideas please? :)

Cold from me - bought a Super from Aliexpress when they first came out and returned it within a week because the the GPS could never get a fix and there was ghosting on the screen. Suppose for £7~ it's good, but just be warned that the GPS will be rubbish, assuming you do manage to get that price :)

As an aside, is anyone else getting HUKD links to Banggood blocked by their antivirus? Mine keeps saying it's a fishing link and says the url is for a website called tradetracker? Second time it's happened on two unrelated deals in the past few days.

Going by better CPU alone, the Chinese-sourced phones that I'd consider would have to have a 820 (or near equivalent) at least.

Unfortunately, there are no £150 or lower 820-phones at present, so you'll need to stretch your budget to £200 or just over...

Here are a couple to consider:

LeTV Leeco Le Max 2: 5.7" (2560 x 1440)

Lenovo ZUK Z2: 5" (1920 x 1080)

I've included screen sizes & resolutions here as these might be immediately important to you compared to the P8, which is 5.2" (1920 x 1080)

Side-by-side specs comparison of the 3 to see all the differences here

Main downsides with both:
- no 4G band 20 (800) support or NFC with the Lenovo
- no expandable storage with either, but they have more internal storage + RAM than the P8

--------------------------------------

If you change your mind & would just like a better phone (not necessarily Chinese-sourced) for a similar price (£200), then a 'like new' P9 is a good choice on O2 Refresh (£192) or O2 PAYG (£211). Keeps going out of stock, so you'll need to keep checking:

Huawei P9 (like new) Titanium Grey 32GB - o2 Refresh - £192

Interesting! "awe man! I was really hoping this was real! I waited 2 weeks for this and come to find out its fake and that the SAME people are "winning" everything. for one thing that's mathematically practically impossible so rare that those few "winners" should be playing the lottery because it seems the stars are aligned for them" - comment from their current "Snap Up Deal" promo page http://www.banggood.com/snapup.html

Tried to get one. Complete waste of time
