Not as good as the recent shopto.net offer (price went up from £32 to £37 though), but still the best one at the moment.. Heat added
#2
ill wait to see what asda or tesco come up with 1st

OP here is the description for the bonus code you get for pre ordering-
Pre-order Uncharted and receive an HMV exclusive code that unlocks the Currency Multiplier. This allows gamers to gain in-game currency and unlock bonuses faster than their opponents for a limited period. Exclusive to the multiplayer experience. (Code will be emailed on week of launch)

nice, other shops are charging rip-off prices because its got 9.5 or 10's at most reviewes.

strong contender for game of the year.
#5
I made the mistake of pre ordering FIFA 10 as it was lot cheeper in the shpos when it came out.No doubt this will be the same!
#6
Also note:

States Amazon's offer of inclusion of a "Revenge Mode" code.

Since Amazon dropped their price down to £34.99 too, they've also removed all mention of the "Revenge Mode" pre-order incentive.

BFN,

Would rather just sit and wait and see what the supermarkets come up with on launch day!

From what I've read and played of this so far, it may well be one of the best games ever made.

I cancelled all my pre-orders. Was remotely interested in the limited edition with game before it's price went up. Now I'm going to wait for the price to come down to more reasonable levels. Not interested in the multiplayer in the LEAST.
#15
I have the special edition from Game pre ordered 40pounds; will stick to that unless I see in the newspapers in the coming week that the supermarkets are selling it for under 30.....

What are the chances of that happening? I cannot remember any other game over the last couple of years being sold by supermarkets less than £30 other than Fifa  It's more understandable to do it on a game that is multi-platform, so that way the supermarkets will get more customers. For eg, Fifa 10 sold like hot cakes because it was available for both PS3 and 360.

If there isn't a deal at the supermarkets on release day, like i said before, i hope on release day they keep the £35 price instore so that i can use my £10 Leisure Voucher to buy it for £25.
#17
Slightly cheaper on tesco direct but you also get 270 cc points + 3% quidco. See link I recently posted:

this is only £32.29 at tescos as you get 270 clubcard points and use the £5 off voucher

bear in mind tescos arent great at getting games out to you for the release date!

They are despatched from the manufacturer, not tesco - I've used before and got on release date.

I'm pretty sure just last week they had some game, flashpoint or something I think, well below the normal price.

Yeah but that's not a contender for game of the year...it's a pretty average game. :whistling:

I did post that there is a cheaper deal for uncharted 2 at the hut with code , but for some reason it's been deleted.

I couldn't really care less about the mp either, I pretty much never play any games over psn anymore, I'm strictly an xbox live person when it comes to online gaming.

I don't think I'm alone in this either which is why hmv can get away with this code thing, it's absolutely appalling behaviour and those responsible should be ashamed.

after having 4 xboxes die im ps3 all the way and feel £39.95 a year for xbox live is complete rip off

Solid ps3 title, its derivative but exclusive wise its one of the few decent titles worth getting a ps3 for.

There are so many good games comming out in the next few months, I will wait for this one, like all first party Sony titles the prices drop like a stone with the game given away free with bundles etc. As with LBP and Killzone 2 it will be £20 or less within a month so I will hold fire on this one.
#37
I too would wait a few weeks and it should be well under £30 before Christmas.

Little bit better than just 'Solid'

The game has an average of 9.7/10 across 40ish reviews :whistling:

Like most games full stop - not just Sony titles.
