I'd love to buy this, but their checkout is a mess. Can't figure it out in Chrome or Firefox.
#3

Uncharted 1 did my head in, is no 2 better? ie is it easier? Like when you shoot an enemy do they actually feel the pain, as opposed to blinking when a bullet hits their head full on. Like when, you the player, gets shot you fall to the ground for an eternity, then when you stand up you're shot at from all angles, 50 bullets a nano second, does the second game actually give you a break?

Or do I just fail at these sort of games, lol?

Perhaps you just fail at these games or perhaps your joypad is broken.
Anywho Uncharted 2 has a "Very easy" option (Uncharted 1 lowest option was Easy). Very easy provides auto targeting I believe along with enemies that feel pain (you can see them wince).

LOL I think I just fail, what's the point in 'very easy'? I liked the puzzle bits, but playing on easy was annoying with the 'hints'. I just failed on the first game trying to get out of the crashed plane, I gave up then and sold it on ebay.

I do fancy trying it again tho', may perservere more with the second game, nice price OP:)

2's easy than 1. I loved both of them but Uncharted 2 was the better game. I first played Uncharted 1 on easy and then played Uncharted 2 on normal. IMO U2 on normal was easier than the first one on easy. Uncharted 2 on hard felt about the same Uncharted 1 on easy but maybe that's just me

Enslaved: Odyssey To The West.

Can be picked up for around £10-14 and is a cracking game. A demo is on the PS Store if you're not sure.

I think you just need to persevere and learn to use cover and break. The mechanics of the game and AI are quite easy. I played the first on the hardest difficulty setting and it wasn't that challenging. I got bored of the second because the AI and mechanics were the same as the first ... there was nothing fresh in the gameplay, just new surroundings and slightly improved graphics.

Or do I just fail at these sort of games, lol?

Good price for a very good game.
Heat added!

I can't seem to get on the site :(
#21
ordered, also uncharted 1 for 10.99 both for £18 is great
#22
Wait i think my house is on fire oh wait its not its just this deal is so smoking hot. Been waiting for this to come down in price very happy. Cant wait for it to arrive i loved uncharted 1.
#23
Ordered this plus Motorstorm Pacific Rift for £12 as £1 discount if you order another pre-owned game. Clever system as postage costs won't be doubled. Christ great gaming is cheap!
#24
thanks op, ordered! loved the first, not played this one yet
#25
Personally I waaaaay preferred this to the first 1 which I didn't complete, but this I couldn't stop playing until I had. Some of the best graphics and gameplay ever seen on a console game.
Anyhow's, it doesn't even matter about the single player story mode (which is admittedly great) as it's ALL ABOUT online multiplayer. I got stuck into that around Christmas and am still hopelessly addicted now...
Heat added for a smoking hot deal and 2 ordered for friends so they can get involved in the online multiplayer!!!

I just failed on the first game trying to get out of the crashed plane,

That bit is a real sod on Crushing (the hardest difficulty) I had to break the game and stand somewhere nobody could shoot me behind the tree
#27
I'd still like to pick up the first game pre-owned and cheap... thought it would cost next to nothing these days, maybe I'm just not looking properly.
#28
this game is the GOAT!
#29
Wow. £7.99 for a preowned game? I paid £5 for it at currys with the £5 off voucher. Didnt like it as im mostly into sports games. Cant belive how hot this thread has got! :p
#30
Great game, playing it at the moment (reached the Mountaineering chapter). The level on the moving train is superb. Really enjoyed the first game too.
#31
It's worth £7.99 just to see how cool it is to wade through the deep snow at the start!
#32
Awesome game online, jus started to play it again!!! its so awesome!!!
#33
Nice Ordered.HEAT
#34
completed this and traded it in,
but for this price it would be rude not to buy it!!
Just ordered, Thanks -have some heat-
What are they like for delivery? This is my 1st order!!
#35
Voting hot because it was an excellent game. Not wanting to get into a ps3 v 360 war here, but one one the games that made it worth getting my ps3. I have both 360 and ps3 and while 360 wins on live, system link, better versions of cross platform games and joypads, but the PS3 games done with proper love and care have had the upper hand for me on the two consoles.
#36
Hot price but when i rented this, i expected to play a game, not watch a movie, excessive cut scenes make this a no-no for me!
#37
Well worth 7.99

Do yourself a favour and never play any Metal Gear Solid or Final Fantasy games :p

Uncharted 2 didn't feel like it had excessive cutscenes to me. However it was a great cinematic experience, felt like I was playing a role in a blockbuster action movie (as opposed to watching one)
