People need to start posting receipts / shelf stickers so deals can be rated fairly. These rules should be in the tnc's!

yeah, i think is it's an instore deal that is extremely good (like this one) a reciept should be required to post, but either way im not calling anyone a liar either, good spot, but wont add heat im afraid.

why would anyone want to lie about a £2.99 game ???????? maybe if they bought a 60" plasma for £2.99 then i would say lets see your reciept....but not a £2.99 game........hope yous are not on dury duty when i get caught pinching some sweets

I do wonder however, despite some deals being limited stock/local...

HAS anyone actually been caught just making up deals for attention? ever?

It just sounds crazy, and and would people feel better if they saw the offer price and then found it was still full whack in their local store?

It is crazy pricing on the site however, £2/99 new, yet 18 quid preowned, surely that means if you found one you could trade it in instantly for more than you paid?

Why should people have to upload receipts/shelf stickers etc, when someone posts a deal it's NOT for their benefit - it's to help total strangers, so stop whining.

I have seen a few deals that have found out to be fake but they are rare, I guess they are the trolls at their worst.

Chances of finding this in any Game is around the same as winning the lotto.

OP is one lucky person and should be playing the lottery.

this WAS for sale for £3 not too long ago online (have a quick search - http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/uncharted-2-among-thieves-special-edition-for-2-99-game-1205957), but obviously they had very little stock. similar situation to the battlefield 3 for £3... they had stock but not many. good find to OP but obviously for most stores its not the same case. not worth making a special trip for but if you are in browsing might as well have a look. What have you got to lose, a few minutes browsing?

Was as in when game had the fire sale. The odd mix priced game may be still be around, but it's up to the store what they sell it at.

I know it was £2.99 online and still is but the price instore is £17.99 (when I purchased it was £2.99 online but web and in store prices are nearly always different)
