Fortune hunter Nathan Drake returns in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, a pulse-pounding third-person action-adventure/shooter created by award-winning developer Naughty Dog and exclusive to PlayStation 3.

Down on his luck, Drake is lured back into the treacherous world of thieves and mercenary treasure-seekers he had sought to leave behind. When a mysterious artifact propels Drake on an expedition to find the legendary Himalayan valley of Shambhala, he finds himself embroiled in a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse against a fugitive war criminal who's after more than just the fabled riches of the lost city.

Caught in a web of deception and plunged into an increasingly deadly pursuit that tests the limits of his endurance, Drake will be forced to risk everything - but has his luck finally run out?

#3

Good price but I'm still waiting for a sub-£25 (new) price, only just heard about the £17.99 play misprice and am well ****** off with myself for missing it, I'm jobless so getting up at 2pm so that must've been why I missed out. Loved Drake's Fortune so much, jumped to the top of my favourites games ever but still trying to stand strong for a cheaper price.

Just waiting for MM to say "waiting for this to drop below £20". =p

Wasn't a misprice. It was just a 24 hour offer that didn't last too long.

24 hours? It was only 17.99 for a couple of hours and then it shot back up to 39.99
#9
Yeah, it was a misprice. It wasn't a deal of the day or anything. Unless they purposely thought they'd reward the lucky for a few random hours. Who knows?
#10
£24.95 pre-owned in Blockbuster is still better. The discs are like brand new and the boxes have no tattiness. Voted hot as its clearly the best price for new.
#11
Good price.

Heat added.

Got mine from Play.com early on the week for £17.99

No, it wasn't a misprice, it was part of their monday deal which also included Need for Speed Shift and Borderlands at 17.99.
#15
Best price at the moment but not sure it is a hot deal as such - it is almost certainly going to be part of the ongoing Play/Gameplay/Gamestation/Game/Zavvi..etc.. pricing wars that seem to be going on with every other game so I would hold out.

... or you could be nice to your buddies on HUKD and sell me one for £20 inc. postage rather than bank off of our misfortune at missing out on it because you were harsh enough to take three.

GOTY a must own game

Anyone who has a PS3 and isn't thinking of/doesn't already have this game is stupid. This is by far one of the best games released on any console this generation. I know a lot of people say "it's not my type of game," but believe me it IS your type of game and you'll love it.

Buy it now, thank me later.
#18
Great price for the goty.
#19
(in an "X-Factor" voiceover voice)..."THE GAME THAT STARTED THE NEXT GEN". excuse the hyperbole, but on starting this game, within 3 mins of the single player I bet you will be cooing.

On the original thread someone passed on his good fortune of getting two copies by mistake by selling one of them on for 17.99 plus 90p postage.

Coming on here to gloat about getting the deal isn't really the spirit of hotukdeals. Merry Xmas.

Great price with the quid off! Been waiting for this to go down somewhere.
#24
Ordered, thanks! Heat & Rep
#25
just for the record, the Bbuster games sold as "preowned" were not actually pre-owned imho

my local store had about 30 copies, all of which were in perfect condition - not even fingerprints on the box or disc.
#26
Not a bad price :)

Exactly, we're a community here where regulars help each other out, however we have recently been inundated with morons who just want to abuse the site and the deals mostly shared by those regulars to make a quick buck for themselves at the expense of other members.

Personally I already have this game so I didn't even try to buy one the other day but if what you said was indeed a joke then it wasn't a particularly good one and you can't blame people for getting the wrong idea.

A few people have, PayPal is generally recommended really, makes the purchase safer for you anyway.

Don't blame others for your error. Anyone in the right mind or would do that. Sadly never saw it myself. don't forget to pay tax if you bought to make a profit ;)

I haven't had any problems. I can assure you that ShopTo are as safe and secure as any other shopping website out there. As long you use a credit card or VISA debit card you'll be fine.

How daft! Most of the deals are stolen from Money Saving Expert and anyone is entitled to purchase as many of something as they require. What do you think shops do? Recently seen people moaning that none of a certain item available at Homebase and others re Richer Sounds e.t.c. These same people just don't listen and whinge that people have purchased more than one! Just get to B&Q and get a pricematch and extra 10% and i.e. John Lewis and free five year warranty.....
Then again just come on here whinging that others are spoiling the site......

Paying by Paypal is safer than Credit card when using shopto - please explain? paying via credit card through Paypal maybe better re chargeback but safer?????
