Seems like a good price, but all depends on how good the signal is.

Remember, if/when the digital radio switchover takes place these radios won't work.

Good for a tenner though.

Digital switchover? Years away so no need to panic.

I think that was (ridiculously optimistic) target not a commitment.

I got one & don't think it's that bad for a cheap radio for the kitchen.
#11
Is it mains or battery operated?

Every time one of the overpaid makes a statement about this, they sound as if they’re back pedalling. It may never happen.

I bought this radio from Lidl about six months ago and I am very pleased with reception and ease of fitting.

+1 if its mains Im not interested. Although I've already got a Joggler in the kitchen so it would make no sense buying this
#15
It's mains operated and also have a battery to keep the memories function working if disconnected

good from me - had one for 6mths approx works fine. some interference on AM but due to proximity to circuits in kitchen.
FM is fine - for a tenner just what we wanted - gets it off the worktop.
Looked better in silver than white first time round.

Installed last night so you can't see it. Very happy. Does what it says on the tin :)

Well... It's working good, easy to fit, good reception, decent sound, looks nice within the kitchen, lots of alarms and timers. £10!

Maybe worth risking a tenner - but what about a new car with no DAB? Much unhappiness approaching I think!
