Yes I know they're doing strikes over Christmas, but some of the deals seem really good. Just found a weekend break in Venice in April for £150 including flights, hotel and continental breakfast. If you can do week days, some of them are down to £99. The BA sales have some good bargains so worth checking anyway.

I was on the phone booking the other day and was told sale is on until 31/01/17. Do you know if there are limitations as to when you need to travel? Often these sales state travel between March and May for example.

Yep book by 31 Jan but dates to fly are up to end of next year by look of it. Depends where you're going.

Nice one!!! But Shame on the strikes though. Few of my friends have been made redundant just before the festivities!!
You only know how privileged you are with work when you have no work!!!

They always strike during the holidays with no regard for customers and how hard people have worked and saved to go on a holiday.
I cannot express my contempt for BA staff on this site. I would never fly with BA again.
They don't deserve their jobs.

I came in here for something but I can't for the life of me remember what it was......oO

Used BA many years ago and they were excellent. However my friend and his Wife flew with them 2 weeks ago and thought they were below average. The 23kg luggage allowance is miserable on long haul too. Just had a look now for a return flight to Malaysia. It worked out at £750 return. Thats £350 more than we paid Emirates for the same dates (£368 return).
Sadly Cold Cold Cold

My last flight with BA surely wasn't unforgettable (for the wrong reasons).

Very wise words indeed, maybe they should accept the 2% pay rise offer and get back to work!! Many public sector workers haven't had a pay rise for at least 5 years never mind in line with inflation. They get no sympathy from me!

So because we haven't had a decent pay rise for years (I'm in the public sector too) no one should? I suggest you get battling for decent pay and conditions for yourself and others.

I checked internal flights from London to Leeds and Manchester last week and they're the same price...hardly a sale

No what I'm saying is 2%is a fair offer considering the situation of the country being in austerity.
