They sell these sort of torches in good ole Poundland sometimes too, though I can't compare it to this one. Never had any need to buy one :)

Was going to post the same. The Poundland ones look almost identical other than the straps.

these are identical, only with a different name. morrisons also do them for £3, and i suspect that they are all made by the same company.

this aint a good deal at all. how this has got this much heat already is crazy

Because it's cheaper than Morrisons and not everybody has a Poundland near them. I don't.

"Sorry, all of your items are currently out of stock at your local warehouse. This amount will not be charged to your card."

I live in Canary Wharf. Hopefully other warehouses still have stock.

When I went to buy, it says out of stock for delivery and no home pick-up. Does this mean 'expired'?
#9
Same as above i'm afraid ....said in stock then OOS....:(

There's actually a few different models of this torch.
They all use the same casing but there are different numbers of LEDs fitted.
This is a 7 LED one but the one I have has 21 or thereabouts.

They aren't the greatest torches - I wouldn't rely on this when caving for example - but for domestic use or to keep in the car they do the job.

As others have said, they can be had for this price at car boot sales, discount shops and so on so I'm not sure why this is going so hot.

Have you ever tried finding one of these in the dark?
