so choose something else from the vertbaudet website over £10 and use the code if you feel its not for you:thumbsup:

actually after reading further .....When you purchase this item, Vertbaudet promises to donate £1 to the UNICEF vaccination programme in the Central African Republic.

you are still technically purchasing the item all be it using a money off voucher so unicef will still get their donation

Nice find... bought! They not a company to charge you full amount anyway even though you have used a discount code

Sorry - Cold
Why  - I'm not sure, but maybe it's because after supplying and posting the doll and giving a pound to charity they will be losing money and I think we should be supporting companies that donate to charity rather than kicking them in the teeth.
Especially at Xmas ... :santa:

Sorry - Cold
Taking money from the most needy in the World - especially at Xmas, I'm surprised the Mods haven't pulled this.

good idea report it and let the mods decide:) after all the £1 you pay vertbaudet donate to unicef as if you read it a £1 donation for each doll sold goes to unicef so how can you be classed as ripping off unicef??

I commented only to explain why I voted cold.
It doesn't rip off Unicef, it rips off a company that financially supports them.

Cold from me - yes technically Unicef will still get their pound, but companies like Vertbaudet will be less likely to contribute to charities in the future when they are not making any profit from sales...

They actually have the dolls on the website at 3 different prices, at the link below its only 5.50
http://www.vertbaudet.co.uk/baby-nursery-maternity-clothes/Unisex-Rag-dolls.aspx?ProductId=V618953101&DocumentId=V606&CompanyId=V&source=4

Although you can't use a discount voucher for sale items

This is just a nonsense debate! The small number of people who use this code to buy this doll is not going to prevent unicef receiving their money or vertbaudet selling charity products. I doubt anyone will even be checking which products codes are used for! Unicef will automatically get their pound for each item.

Got my dolls today. They look fab! Will add to my multicultural collection of bits for Ofsted! Did it twice, getting 2 dolls at £2 each. Well done.

Exactly

well they are not going to be making a profit from most of the other stuff people have used the code for so shouldn't make a difference. Their fault for giving a code with no min spend, nothing to do with the fact it is for unicef

Mine took 2 weeks and 6 days to arrive....got here eventually though!

mine arrived, she's super cute. I can forgive myself for taking from Uniced in the thought that I'll be using these in a classroom and helping children to gain an understanding of diversity.
