Cool, this will come in handy, save me getting a cab back from the pub on Friday nights when I'm quite drunk.

I want to live in a society where unicycles are the only legal method of transport.
Juggling can remain optional.
#13
think how much you'd save on tyres :-)

Look out for optional handlebars

there's also a pretty good cycling shirt there too

Even good for the more 'normal' 2 wheeled cyclist

Two of these, a bit of welding and you have yourself a tandem for under £100. Now that's gotta be hot.

So does everything designed to be 'fun' rather than 'practical' not have a place in your world? It's only £35 and looks good fun.
#27
Thumbs up and heat from me! :)

Actually, I have seen these cheaper in Home Bargains. Seriously.

The 3 year warranty is good though, In case I break it on one of the two occasions I actually get on it. I might get it for my sister's birthday as she's always buying me stuff like fondue sets.

Guy I used to work beside used one of these for his commute. When stopped at lights in Edinburgh during the festival, he was going back and forwards. Some tourists chucked some money at him - superb!

Theyve had unicycles in Home Bargains for a few months now. Im not certain about this, but I thought they were around the £29 mark

Why aren't they called 'monocycles'

After all, we have bicycles when there are two wheels, and of course tricycles for three wheels. Mono would make a more logical prefix

This for the same reason... it just wouldn't sound right!

Anybody ever tried learning to ride one?
Just wondered how difficult they are.

I love how the pedals have reflectors on them, as if anybody is going to be riding one of these down a dark country road!
#39
They had these at our local Lidl about a year ago and I kicked myself for not buying one then as they sold out in a matter of hours! Hope they've got some left when I go in tonight! H&R!
