How much??:?

This looks better at £10.94 delivered : Click.

You also have the advantage of being able to buy decent batteries for it. in my experience Uniross batteries are actually worse than Aldi/Lidl ones. Or you could buy their own brand ones...

Actually.. Add these 2700mah to the charger and it comes to £18.93 delivered.

D'OH!

I quite like uniross batteries. they have a reasonable longevity. I own the 7h charge ones and they have done me proud.

I've been out-done!

I take my hat off...
My mistake.

No bad reps please ;)

Apart from the price on Amazon it's still a good find for somebody wanting a mega fast charger so i'm giving you rep for it;-) . Not sure on the possible damage to the batteries though, suppose it depends on just how good the cooling fan actually is:thinking:

That one'll only charge 2 at a time and no car adapter - can't really compare the two.

The one at Amazon was £16.99 several months ago with just 4 batteries (got deal from here) - great charger when you use uniross but put anthing else in and it tends to refuse to charge them - same non-uniross work fine in my other uniross charger - timer rather than a sensor.

I got this for around £12 a couple months ago from Amazon

The only problem is that the Fan is very noisy, but it is needed to keep the unit from overheating

Be careful. These super fast chargers (>1000mah) have been reported to damage long term capacity of your batteries. Not a problem for most, but if you insist on buying the highest capacity (and therefore most expensive) batteries then you may wish to consider this, although I am not in a position to confirm this (i.e. I don't own a 15min charger!).

FYI, I read this information during my extended research into building my own mountain bike trail lights (>requires high capacity batteries and long long run times for 24hr races).

this one seems quite cheap, delivery is high but im sure there may be something else worth buying from there.

That place is unbelievable. They CHARGE you to pick up from their shops! WTF! Can you imagine what would happen if Maplin did that pmsl.

Anyway, another comparable alternative to your one : Uniross Xpress 1000 £13.94/9.99. Possibly cheaper elsewhere if anybody wants a challenge:p

Been using a Uniross Ultra fast for years, mine takes about 2 hours to do a set of 2500mah AA's.

brian.tomlinson, please be careful not to paste referral links into your deals. I've updated OP now.
