1000mah is as high as AAAs go. You thinking of AA which go up to 2850mah

Seems good to me. I've been using these exact batteries for pretty much everything, remotes, controllers, mice, toothbrush, camera. Can't complain. If people vote cold I'd love to hear what's better and cheaper, I mean genuinely because I could do with some more.

I take it these don't come precharged?

Its the Hybrio range that come pre-charged :)
These are standard rechargables I think

shame, the hybrio ones hold their charge much longer.

Be careful - these aren't currently in stock:
"Pre-order. | Due for release on 10/08/2009" - as mentioned by OP - doh !

I bought 2 packs of these but I'm far from happy. I suspect they may be cheap copies as it's impossible to charge 'em up fully, be that in my Philips 'phones (which I bought 'em for) or in a traditional charger.

Beware.

Will these work in my ENERGIZER charger?

Maplin do AAA 1000mAh for £4.99, so the price isn't anything special
#12
spend extra £1 you will get the Sanyo Eneloop which is one of the best
Yup I know that one is only 900MAh but imagine their difference after 3-6mths of usage? :-D

How about these 1000mAh Powerman AAA ?
They're £4.50, with a further 10% off using code summer09
(I actually got them when memorybits had 20% off, and it rrp £4.17 - paid £3.34 that time! :-D)
Using them now as replacement batteries for my DECT phones - charge lasts quite a while (previous original Panasonic batteries were only 650mAH) - I normally leave off the charger until a handset is almost empty.

I used to rate VApex, but the consistency has gone way down and they do not last well at all, my lower powered Uniross last longer. The price however is not very good IMHO.
7 day shop are cheaper http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=777_3&products_id=101843

Or these are a bargain at £2.99 http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=777_3&products_id=105239 Worth a post themselves?

Aldi do 4*AAA 750mAh for £2.49, for some people who doesnt mind little less mAh saving 2.50£.
#20
Not really a special price. I bought 4 x 1000 mAh Encore AAA batteries for £4.88 in Currys a few weeks ago and you can still buy them at the same price.

They should do but check the charging rate to make sure it won't overcharge them

Don't know why these are on pre-order, unless it's just because they are out of stock. I bought these from the clearance section at Maplin a few months ago for £4.98, down from £5.99!

Probably because they were AA's and not AAA's:thinking:
