5.0 out of 5 stars Really pleased with these, 1 May 2010

This review is from: Uniross 4 x AAA Multi Usage Long Life Batteries (Electronics)
Uniross Hybrio batteries are excellent; I am so pleased with them that I am phasing out all other brands and now have sixteen of the 2100mAh AA-sized hybrios and eight of these 800mAh AAA-sized. These are all mainly used for high demand photographic applications and they have not let me down once.

Hybrios use Ni-MH cells which are quick to charge and quick to power-cycle (which makes them ideal for modern flashguns).
The hybrid technology means that they do not discharge quickly when not in use, and some tests show that with a full charge they can still have more than 75% of their power left after twelve months on a shelf!

I strongly recommend moving to these batteries in favour of alkaline or inferior rechargeables - they are not just worth it in economic terms, but they sport great performance when you need it most.

Don't forget to recycle your old batteries when they're dead! I put mine in the special bin at Asda ;)

It's not Amazon it is Media-R-Us on Amazon Marketplace. From Amazon they are £8.99.

£3.15 is cheap but this post is misleading, it should state that it is Marketplace and the name of the seller.
These are the batteries to buy and this
is a good price. Hot.
£3.10 from icell from marketplace, thanks OP, good price
Bit suspicious of the large price difference between Amazon and these marketplace sellers. Are these genuine Hybrio.
Well I've ordered some, nice find OP.
got them from mymemory for £3.28...they are a well known seller..
Ordered. Hopefully they are genuine...

If buying from an Amazom marketplace seller, I'd also suggest GP Recyko+ AAA's which in my experience have outperformed the Hybrio's I have. They also have a slightly higher nominal capacity of 850mah compared to 800mah.

A 6-pack can be picked up qiute cheap at £5.06 from Marketplace sellers with good reviews (e.g. 246click)
Hot, got these for £4.98 over a year ago.
We too, and I am not impressed. Yes, they last a bit longer than the old kind of rechargeable, but after a few weeks they still lose a lot of their power. How they can quota a shelf life of a year is beyond me.

Bought them half year ago for £3.35. For test I've made several charge/discharge cycles using BC700 charger, and performance of those cheap batteries is quite impressive. Taken from the box (I guess several month after production date) still did have about 600mAh!
Average capacity in test was 750mAh (200mA charge/250mA discharge current), and 720mAh one month after charging. For that price it's bargain!
HOT, orderd 2 packs... now i only use rechargeables, much cheaper than others... we have very heavy battery useage

4x wii controllers, cordless mice x 3, walkie talkies, tourch lights, RC toys (too many)...

I will now have around 50 rechargeable battries mostly AA but now about 12 AAA (dont need many of these)

Saved lots of money overy the pas few years, and for things such as SLR flash guns, Rechargebles are much better 2650 ma battries do make a big difference when flash is chargeing.
Ordered some of these from media-r-us last week, very quick delivery, excellent batteries at a very good price.
just what i needed
perfect for my headphones. cheers :)
