Looks a good deal.. I'd not be interested as it doesn't state if they're the 2100mAH ones or the 800's.. With a camera I'd want to be on the 21's at least.. Also its only a 2 battery charger and my camera takes 4 at a time so would be 16 hour charge.. I got a fast charger and 3 sets of 2600's off ebay for £18 delivered instead..

Good deal if it works for you though.. :)

This charger does charge 4 batteries at once, 2 on the front and 2 on the back of the charger. Also the AA batteries are 2100mAH.

C&P taken from another site (PricelessUK) but exacly the same charger and batteries....

The Uniross X-Press 300 Fast Charger is supplied with 4 x HYBRIO AA Ni-MH pre-charged batteries.

Uniross HYBRIO batteries are supplied fully charged just like a normal 'disposable' battery but are also very environmentally friendly simply because they can be recharged again and again.

The charger can be used to charge 2 or 4 x AA, 2 or 4 x AAA and 1 or 2 x PP3 (9 volt block) type cells. The charger has a timer for AA and AAA batteries. Ideal for use with all high power equipment including digital cameras, flashguns etc.

Features

Charges 2 or 4 x AA, 2 or 4 x AAA, or 1 or 2 x PP3 size rechargeable batteries
Will charge Ni-Cd or Ni-MH rechargeable batteries
Automatic timer
Includes 4 x Uniross HYBRIO 2100mAh Ni-MH AA’s

Approximate Charge Times

AAA/R03/Micro 700mAh Ni-MH - 7hr 20min
AAA/R03/Micro 900mAh Ni-MH - 9hr
AA/R6/Mignon 1300mAh Ni-MH - 5hr 20min
AA/R6/Mignon 2100mAh Ni-MH - 8hr
9V/R22/PP3 120mAh Ni-Cd - 8hr
9V/R22/PP3 170mAh Ni-MH - 11hr

Saw a similar deal with a Uniross smart charger a while before Christmas but I've just done a price check and low and behold with all the current Christmas/New Year/Credit Crunch/VAT discounts the price is now up nearly 50 % to £15 lol. Good find.

I also wasted time going to my local homebase looking for one of these, but then saw a deal on here yesterday for some Kodak batteries which i've used before on Directfoto.co.uk and ordered the hybrio charger from them at the same time for £10.99 which i thought was acceptable, but an extra 49p off here so nice and hot for me.

Fair enough, didn't say any of that on the John Lewis page and when I googled the hybrio charger I found one that only took 2 batteries.. Good deal then, go for it.. :-D

if you are looking for 4 AAA or AA hybrio battery's, then I have got them from ebay seller 'vapextech'.
He (or she?) sells vapextech branded "instant" AA or AAA, the same type as hybrio or eneloop.

They are around £5 per pack delivered, and I have bought from the seller several times with no problems.
I first bought vapextech rechargables nearly 5 years ago, and they have lasted better than my uniross ones, so I am more than happy with the 'unknown' brand.

4xAAA hybrio for £4.81 delivered: http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/234155/uniross-4-x-aaa-rechargeable-hybrio/
