Anyone got one of these are they any good? How long to charge a mobile?

I got the email too, but cant find any reviews of how effective it is and what amount of light is needed to give a charge?
#3
free delivery aswell, not sure the about the charge times. But price seems good

Same price at Play but no reviews.

Still better at MyMemory with 6% quidco plus use the "may5mm" for 5% off.

I've got one, ordered it a few weeks back. Takes roughly 3 to 4 days to charge AAs with good weather, AAAs take a bit less. I have only recently started using it, so im still testing it. Havent tried out the USB or the mains adapter features yet. It looks like a well made product, i would recommend it for the price, makes you feel a bit better not using electricity to recharge batteries :p

Good deal - Bought this last week from mymemory @£6.99 but forgot to post it.
Mine came yesterday so have been charging despite the lack of sun (typical). It doesnt come with batteries - I know it probably doesnt say it does but I can confirm it definitely doesnt.
It's quite nifty looking - looks like a mini space station ;)
The stated charging times were approx 16hrs for AA batteries and 8hrs for AAA from memory. It's quirky as a gadget but in terms of real usage, I'm not convinced it's all that useful give the charge times etc. You can power it from a DC charger but that kinda defeats the purpose! :)
For £6.99 - it's a fun little gadget but if I'm being honest, I probably wouldnt buy it (again) based on what I have seen so far.

I used the 5% off and the Quidco tracked at 70p total (for 2).
It hasnt been validated yet but in my experience mymemory usually honour both....

Yeah it tracked, 3 to 4 days is to fully charge, i have only used it twice though atm, and we have had pretty crap weather. Its ok for me though, batteries dont usually drain within that time period for stuff i use.
It varies of course where you place it, i havent found the perfect spot yet, still need to mess around with it.

YEARS !

I have something similar and it wont charge some of my PDA's or phones as some of original mains chargers that came with them are rated at 1Amp or slightly less . There OK for batteries though .

This is the type of kit that people imagine you have to use when you suggest they use rechargeable batteries! :-(

I would suggest buying one as a long term family heirloom, in about 70 years it is bound to be worth something! Now, it is priceless, sorry, I mean, VALUELESS!

well ive gone for it, just goto wait n see

what a f£%kin mistake, its crap at best and that's givin it more praise then it deserves

Just sent mine back, failed to charge mobile phones at all. Very flimsy too!
