I read some where that in the UK they take about 36 hours to charge the batteries and in winter you may as well give up. Any one else know anything to the contrary. Or any experience with them.

I bought one of these the other day- its a load of rubbish.

You can't charge directly to USB from the sun. It only works with batteries in it and you have to use it to charge your own rechargeable batteries, which then send their power via the enclosed (very fragile) adaptor to your USB devices.... allegedly...

HOWEVER... even with fully charged batteries in it, its not powerful enough to even start to charge my Nokia phone.

Waste of money- voted cold.
