If you bought Hybrio batteries and a charger then why would you buy these? Why not stick with Hybrio type batteries? Unless you need batteries to use over a short period of time I would have thought you would be better off with low discharge Hybrio types.

However, the charger on this is intelligent whereas I don't think the other one you got is. One review on Play.com indicates that the quality on it may not be great.

Although the price on this package is a LOT cheaper than elsewhere I still would prefer to buy a decent intelligent charger (if you can afford it) and Eneloop/Hybrio type batteries.

I've ordered one to try out. Worth a punt at £5.
But I forgot quidco - the wife will shout at me now :-(
#5
Ordered thanks, like the fact that you also get a car charger with it.
#6
Nice. It's almost worth that for the batteries alone. Ordered with heat and rep.
#7
Wanted a quick charger and with the batteries this seems a total bargin!! heat and rep left. thank you.

The one I have is this one :

http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=777_3&products_id=100598

I notice it is on order now though.

I have spent a reasonable amount of money on cheaper chargers in the past (including supposedly intelligent ones) and looking back have wasted that money as this charger really does seem to be giving me a lot longer life out of the recharges. With the last intelligent one from 7dayshop I got the batteries only lasted an hour or two in my DAB radio - now they last 8-9 hours. It's not a 1 hour charger or pocket sized but it does a proper charge - can mix and match batteries including the oblong 9v ones. It is a rebadged proven model which is double the price in the original form.

There is another charger which is better in that it displays the charge in each battery so you can tell when one has had it but it is about £30. I'm at work and would have to look it up if you are interested.

EDIT : Found the branded version of the 7dayshop model

http://www.batterycity.co.uk/vanson_speedy_box_with_intelligent_charge_control-p-1053.html

and the 'better' model is here - this gets plenty of great reviews and again is a rebranded version of an expensive model

I've been thinking about getting my little brother some rechargable batteries for his 360 pad (the little ****** keeps pinching my battery packs) so this will come in useful. Seems like a good deal just for the batteries!

very good price and want one, but already have a 15min charger......and a lot of other gadgets that hardly get used

great , thanks for that. I don't mind spending £15 to replace my Energizer 15 min charger that cost £15 at the time, but now ruins batteries and has blue sparks coming out of it! Any chance you know roughly how long that one takes to charge 2 x 2700mAh AAs please?

Voted Hot.

Bought one myself as currently having similar charging issues with my current 1-hour charger (like Searcher2 did; batteries not seeming to last too long after a charge). With that said, my current one is also Uniross...

Ordered, thanks bargain.

I don't off hand. It depends on the state of your batteries when you start charging. I set mine to discharge the batteries first and then recharge. If the batteries are dead then the discharge won't take long at all. Apparently if you use a charger like this and discharge and recharge a couple of times it can breathe new life into batteries you thought had had it. I tend to put my batteries on charge when I go to bed and they are charged when I get up.... so definitely less than 7 hours! A straight charge I would hazard a guess at 4 but I can try it. Maybe worth checking some reviews on the 7dayshop site and see if they give you an estimate.

Yes. If your invoice says £5 that's what you will be charged. They only have a limited stock at the £5 price - there are plenty of deals like this around at the moment and they go through fine.
#24
It's showing as £5 for me
#25
Back at £5 - but probably not for long
#26
Showing at £5 again now - good price with 2700 batteries.
