Great deal. Have some heat and rep Op. :)

I currently have a Maha class 2 battery charger with DC1.2v 1000mA output. The caution warning states that only 1.2v nimh/nicd batteries must be used.

Will it accept these batteries?

Are they best with regards to time in which they hold charge, length of usage, both or some other aspect? I do use similar batteries but felt the longevity was poor. What makes these the "best batteries on the market"?

If you don't need the extra AAA batteries try these from 7dayshop for £3.99 (less if you buy more)
I've used these and they are very good (better than normal Ni-Mh)

now 5.49....

gone up to £5.49 :(

This is a good deal especially with the 2xAAA thrown in.

These batteries are just as good as Sanyo Eneloops (the best of the best).

See here for charge remaining after 6 months: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showpost.php?p=2479328&postcount=16

I am suspicious about the 7dayshop range of low discharge batteries. There seems to have been no tests carried out on them to see how well they hold their charge over a period of time.

Thanks op heat and rep added!

Argh gone up in price.. but still a decent deal IMO.

These are showing up as £5.49 and £3.99 for the aaa's now
#15
£5.49 still seems a great price for 4 X AA +2 x AAA ?

Thanks op heat and rep added! Bought a few packs of these just now.

Thanks for the link. I have been using similar batteries but they suffered immensely from poor longevity. Even at £5.49 they are good value and one of the very rare genuine bargains here.

I still would steer clear of the 7dayshop low discharge batteries. Would rather pay the extra £1.50 for the Hybrios as they have been tried and tested!

Definitely is still a great price! I have just ordered 3 sets :)

Given that 4x AA Eneloops are around £7 without any freebies and these Hybrios give tried and tested performance levels which are comparable to Eneloops (+ 2X AAA thrown in as a freebies!). Make this still a fantastic deal @ £5.49.. I think this deal should be reopened with new price amended.

would anybody be able to recommend a good chargr for them ? i've got the uniross 15min sprint charger, i've got a feeling thAT i'd not be able to use that with these batteries
#19
Yep, still a great deal, ordered 2 lots of mixed plus a pack of aaa's

Nice spot, thanks :)
#20
Anyone know if these AAA at 800mah would be OK in my Philips DECT phone which currently have 650mah AAA's - handsets charge through phone base - cheers

You are right, that extremely fast charger will shorten the life of the rechargeable battery. Look for a charger that will charge a single battery in no less than an hour to be gentle on the cell.

It is also a must to buy a charger that charges each cell individually (the charger will have a separate charging/done light for each battery bank). This means you will be able to throw into the charger mixed charged (some flat some just needing a top up) batteries without a potential fire risk.

The Maha C9000 is my favourite I have owned it for nearly 3 years and is great. It allows you to really monitor how well your cells are performing.. but at £50 it isn't too cheap.

These will work even better than your old batteries giving you more talktime/standby time. The mAh numbers are the capacity rating of the battery.

Yes, these are fine and will hold charge/last longer too in comparison to your current ones, we have them in our Dect phones and have been great for the last 2-3 years.

Seems good, but it doesn't charge individual cells.
Charges 2 or 4 - AA and AAA batteries
#33
They seem to have either sold out completely or no longer available at even £5.49 now :(

charges in pairs but then again all my devices that will be using these will need to be used in pairs so makes no difference to me as I'll need to charge 2 at a time anyway.
