  Got my last lot of tyres from camskills and they were far cheaper than any other retailer. When I took them to my local garage to have them fitted and he saw my invoice he was amazed at the price. When he phoned up to get a price, he couldn't even buy them for that price never mind make a profit.

  Put that up for comparison for people who want to ring round for fitting costs etc

  got 4 of these on my motor, 2 of which where only fitted yesterday, I used black circles and an allin price was £141.50, thats tyres/delivery/disposal of old tryres/fitting and balancing
  
  Put that up for comparison for people who want to ring round for fitting costs etc

  
  
  Well these would be £98.18 delivered and my local garage fitting price is £8 per corner. So thats £114.18. So a saving of £27.32. So that leaves me enough for a Harvester lunch for two and a car wash. Happy days. :)

  Gav where did you go to get them fitted? I ended up paying at National (got them on a deal, £200 for mid-budget 4 tyres) fitted.. Couldnt find anywhere willing to fit tyres I'd bought online!

  One thing about Blackcircles: they will charge you £83 per tyre fully fitted (same size and brand tyre).

  Great price - £8 for fitting - where you live......its more than that for balncing alone down our way.
  
  Costco currently got 20% off michellin when you buy 4 - last time i got these they were about 80 a pop - so with the discount about 65 fully fitted

  My wife just used tyreshopper to get a couple of Continentals. The price includes free fitting, valves etc. at a local garage. When my wife took the car to have them fitted, the garage advised she had another tyre that will need changed soon and offered to give her a quote. When my wife showed them how much she paid from tyreshopper they stated that they couldn't get near the price. There is also a 5% code knocking about that gets an additional discount off selected tyres. I'm sure the uniroyals are one of the brands you can use the code with.

  Yep a terrible website. Amazing company though. Once you get used to the site, basically you navigate using the list of sizes on the left, you can quickly find your tyres.
  
  I've bought the last 3 or 4 sets of tyres from these guys, then paid the local tyre place £10 a corner for fitting and balancing. Saved hundreds.
  
  Once I ordered tyres at ~4pm, sent to my work. I expected a few days delay and was in no rush. They were sittings tacked waiting for me in reception at 8am the next day, from Ireland. Incredible service.
  
  Also a little note, good quality tyres will have two coloured paint dots on them. Usually the yellow one indicates the place that the valve should go for optimum balance and minimal balancing weights. Usually the tyre fitters don't know or bother to do this unless you ask.   I have Uniroyal Rainsport 2 tyres and i like them a lot. Not sure what a rainexpert tyre is like though.
  
  Webiste might be basic but i have used camskills numerous times for tyres and they are first class.

  Used the above for bike tyres and no one can touch them.
  
  Looked at car tyres and again the prices are on average, £15 cheaper per tyre for the ones I am looking at (Michelin)

  I tried tyre shopper last time and they are cheaper than most of the online traders. Tyre fitting can be done at National for free.
