For that price I don't expect it to work with many devices. I've been looking at the Tesco ones they sell for £10.

More faith in them.

Well its worth atleast trying this one out as its only 99p as you may find that it workd perfectly.

For 99p, its got to be worth a try though!

You can return it, if does not work as expected :-)

worth a dabble for that price

I did buy a similar one some time ago and the buttons you use all the time e.g. standy quickly stopped working. Well worth a quid as an emergency but dont expect too much

I have one of these. A very basic functioning remote but okay for the CRT TV in the bedroom or a basic video/DVD player type of thing. It wont work with my Acoustic Solutions LCD TV for instance.

these have been in Poundland for years - the issue with them is that they are fixed to a specific range of devices, but - I agree - always worth a shot for £1 :)

I bought one for 4.99 in aldi - it's got a learning ability so you can use it to replace any remote and I've been using it with my tv, dvd player, amp, tuner, video player (yep, still got one) and it's worked perfectly for almost 3 years now - so don't knock something just cos it's cheap!

I bought one of these from pound store before and all it is able to do is turn the tv on and off. It has alot of buttons but almost none of those buttons actually work. And needs to be reprogrammed every so often because it unexpectedly just resets. I tried it on small, old, personal tvs and it wouldn't work so doubt it would work for newer tvs.

I used one...good for the basic work of TV. But definitely a deal at 99P as I can keep it as the backup, incase...

save your pennies. its awaste of time. buy the time you have worked out how to program it, you would be too old to watch tv. most useful place for it is the bin. sorry

Bought one of these in September - thinking it was worth a try at a pound - and once i read through the instructions i was happily flicking through the four channels i receive. My TV is a panasonic so i can only vouch for it working with this brand but i remember the instructions listing a variety of reputable brands that it works with. Worth a go people  voted hot

I also bought one of these a couple of years ago and had exactly the same problems. I returned one to the store only to get a replacement that had exactly the same problems. It can get really irritating when you feel you're continually having to re-program the thing, so in my opinion, its not even worth 99p.

Voted cold - sorry.
