apparently its nationwide, petrol at asda is 1.15 or less...
#2
Although BP price in my local is £1.209 it worked out at £1.089 after £5 Amex credit.
Happy days :)
#3
when are the 'big six' going to reduce their energy prices ?
#4
Woo! Excellent - ta!
#5
lets hope the prices keep tumbling!
#6
Same at Asda Pudsey (Leeds)
#7

#9

#10
It's 119.7 for diesel near me (centre of Leeds)

When the price of oil falls, the exploration companies cut-back on their projects. So, a low oil price now will have a major impact on the UK economy in five years time or so, and may increase our vulnerability to heating fuel shortages in winter.
(Gas is produced along with oil)
People posting on hot uk have the same short term focus as our bankers did in the early to mid 2000's.

115.7p in my local asda
#13
111.9 at my local BP, 115.9 elsewhere inc asda.

Thank you for sharing xxx

Hot deal if your car doesn't run poorly on their fuel. Mine does unfortunately so I don't use it any more.
#16
Hot! Thanks for sharing :)
#17
Does the 1p even make a difference?
#18
Already £114.9 at a local Jet prior to this change, but good move on Asda as forces others to reduce.
#19
What about diesel :-( heat for the petrol but come on Asda, sort out us diesel drivers please ;-)
#20
Heat added. Just wish there was an asda petrol station near me
#21
Shame they are not dropping the price of diesel
#22
Unless you are driving tens of thousands of miles, you are saving pennies.
I just fill up at the nearest petrol station that has a reasonable price.
Remember it costs 90p to drive 2 miles there and back.
For an average car, that's 2p / litre waste if you're going 2 miles further away than your local petrol station.
Can people on hot uk add-up? Do sums?
Been to secondary school?

Buy ASDA if it's local.
The major brands give better fuel economy in most modern cars.
That's worth tens of p.

Tesco Burnley has it at 114.9 as of today too :) i've got 15p off a litre this month but unfortunately I don't drive :-/

That's a bit of a pedestrian comment.
#25
Don't know why people are voting cold, that's the cheapest it's been in ages! Petrol/diesel in general is overpriced (tax) but when supermarkets drop it drives the price down most other places!

You should offer it to a friend and obtain the clubcard points on their transaction too? Win win for both sides.
#27
no friends local that drive :-(

Get an extra clubcard through your online account and give it to a family member who does and explain that you wont use the money off fuel but they are welcome to use your card on the transaction to save the money. At the end of the day it may only be 50points for you and they get a larger saving but in the end you're both going to benefit from something that you wouldn't have without doing it.

don't speak to my family either but if someone on here wants to use it i'll send it to them :-) seems a shame to be wasted. tried giving it to my neighbour but he never uses it

Exactly.
Every penny counts as all the others will take a move too.
At least someone is reducing there's as last time it was always Morrisons.

I order fuel for the company I work for and yesterday the price for diesel was 95.65 per litre and petrol was 89.65 just shows how much profit they make :(
#34
tesco near me not 114 but 115.9 still a improvement
#35
I haven't set foot in Asda since the independence referendum lies and I don't plan to ever again but heat added as I'm sure other peoople aren't as principled as me (don't care) (_;)
#36
Nice. Now it just needs to drop below the £1 mark again and i'll be super happy.

your forgetting there's something called VAT to take account of!!
#39
should be below the £1 a litre mark with the current price of oil.
#40
An economist was saying yesterday to expect it to be near a quid a litre in a couple of months will be good to see that happen but if it could only be 36p a litre like it was when I passed my test then it..........:)

Queue the price it was when you passed :)
