if you buy a comic in a shop it is over £2 so a big saving.
there are old comics, classics and recent releases online.
i read already, daredevil 107 and 108, X-men, spiderman, all recent releases
great site

Definitely worth considering if you're into comics, nice find! How does it work? Is the viewer a plugin for your web browser, or standalone?

its a really easy to use site. you just login. choose a comic, it loads a new window and it runs a page with the comic on. you can scroll, zoom and read square by square just by clicking the right arrow key or left to go back. up and down to zoom.

Hot deal considering how much a single comic costs. Not gonna help those collectors tho.

Good deal! Especially if you're late getting into comic books like me ;)

Have some H&R!

If you subscribe for a year with a one off payment of $59.88 the pice goes down to $4.99 per month:thumbsup:

I subscribed to this for a couple of months shortly after launch. I was a mega comic nerd when I was young and had always wanted to catch up on the storylines and the digital subscription was well worth it. HOWEVER be aware that not everything has been digitised yet, there were often BIG gaps in newer series (THAT was VERY annoying) and they are about 1year (18 months?) behind whats on the shelves.

It really is a great service....highly recommended.

They wouldn't digitize any recent issues, at only $4.99 a month they would effectivly kill off all their published sales.

They will really have to get up to date if they want to stop people just downloading CBZ files of the most recent comics.

They used to have a free service years ago. I think I still have those saved somehwere. I remember reading them while at uni. I think it was around the time the Ultimate universe started.

Great deal but I don't read comics much anymore and don't feel too guilty downloading a few now and then.:whistling:

I had a subscription for ages, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I ended up urm... sourcing digitally... comics in the CBZ and CBR formats due to the gaps in series, they'd have say 2,3,4,10,12,15,16,17 etc. Then, when I cancelled my subscription they continued to bill me for months before I noticed. BAD IDEA, I'd suggest staying well clear. Sorry OP.

I used to be a comic collector. Till i discovered i am not particularly interested in saving cmics over 30 years, in hopes they would go up in price and demand, and spend on storage and all that, only to find theyre useless because the storylines and comic titles have gone long obsolete - not to mention no one reads comics anymore.

SO now i just et electronic comics. Not many of thse either because i have seen and heard everything i ned to on wolvrine sagas. I am sick and tired of watching jean grey die over and over again, professor x turn evil over and over again.

Plus i agree with magneto's version of the world, and really cannot stand or empathise with the bleeding heart x-men losers.

DC, image and other comic companies are simply to be ignored.

Agree with Magneto? At times I sympathise with him especially when he espouses peaceful co-existence between humans and mutants but most of the time he seems to be a supremacist and terrorist who wants enforce mutant superiority over all humanity, can't agree with that.
