When you say 'back on again' I was under the impression this was an ongoing thinig, like the AYCE breakfasts at Toby Carvery, fopr example.

Sorry, you seem to have missed my point. This unlimited breakfast is always this price, so it isn't a deal in the sense of it being a limited time offer. It's a great deal, don't get me wrong, but if anything the deal last posted four months ago is still valid because since then the breakfasts have remained at that price, making this a duplicate, in that sense.

No better deal anywhere

love this breakfast there is so much choice
#9
Had one of these today, got to say quality and value were spot on. Heat from me
#10
It's not quite clear but the harvester breakfast is not a buffet type breakfast like the £3.99 Toby Carvery one. It's order the food fresh then if you want more food, order some more.

The advantages are the food hasn't been lying around but it does mean you need to wait 5-8 minutes for any more food you want. The continental part however, is out buffet style.
#11
Is this deal 7 days a week? What time do they serve breakfast until?
#12
It may be that price all the time but it's nice that people take the time put things on here that other people don't know about so thankyou and hot from me x
#13
What times is this on please?
#14
I see they have pancakes and maple syrup.

Please can anyone whose tried these want to give their verdict.

For anyone with children if you want cooked Breakfast and drinks Premier Inn is probably cheaper, and you don't need to stay for children to eat free.

Our local Harvester has breakfast from 9am until 11.30am.
#16
It's not available at every harvester
#17
Ours is available from 8am in lowestoft which is 30 seconds away from me, fab breakfast

annoying tho that ya breakfast is £4.99 and you have yo pay £2.50 for orange juice you would think orange and apple juice or even any drink was included x
#19
Great! It's at the o2. Will be taking the Mrs there on Sunday morning for breaky. Thank you :D
#20
It is nice with the variety. But i hate having to order the hot food. Much prefer the toby carvery way where its all there on hot plates being replaced at intervals
#21
Does anyone know the cut off age for "younger guests"?
#22
Voted hot for the bacon and the sheer volume of food and drinks. Don't forget, if you opt for the hot breakfast you also get an open pass to the continental breakfast buffet. I've tried this at my two nearest Harvester restaurants. The bacon was good, thick sliced and not too salty. I found the sausages were lacking in flavour and had the texture of mechanically recovered meat. I've always had to ask to have my beans reheated as they usually come out on the plate less than luke warm (but not quite cold).
#23
Not bad price, good choice of food available, even a veggie sausage.
#24
Hot unlimited breakfast cooked to order, brilliant value, kids love it.
#25
Absolutely dreadful breakfast. I don't like the way you have to select the items for your unlimited breakfast before someone brings it to you? Ummm hello, I'd rather help myself? When the breakfast came out sausages looked liked those really bland cheap prefab basic ones you get from every supermarket! The other ingredients werent anything special either. Stone cold from me.

It gets heat & draws new people into hukd so you will be lucky if it ever gets expired. No one shoots the cash cow on a links that make money site.

beefeater wins hands down for us as a family, 8.25 for one adult and two kids eat free with every adult and that's all in as well as drinks. harvester 4.99 plus 2.25 for drinks and kids 1.99 plus 99p for drinks so over £13 for one adult and 2 kids, obviously it depends on your family make up, but beefeater kids is 15 years and under! so a bargain with the amount my eat!!
#28
at our harvester (miridean -leicester) . we allways do a £10 deal. where you get unlimited refills on drinks , big dessert , a main ,also unlimited salad ... I dont know if everyone else has this deal? but yes this breakfast deal has allways been on for us . it is worth it though :)

Beefeater also do unlimited breakfast the same way as the harvester and have been doing this for along time. It's £8.25 per adult which includes your drinks and 2 kids can eat free to 1 paying adult. So for me it's cheaper going to beefeater for breakfast as I have children. My partner went at the weekend and took my children £8.25 for all 3 of them to eat and drink as much as they want, result.

Surely spending 5 quid on breakfast would be enough anywhere?

They're pre cooked, out on the buffet, small, cold & tough. I was looking forward to them too, but they're not what you'd expect.

yep breakfast is £4.99 but its not help yourself you have to keep ordering it and waiting for it to come, or in my case been shown to a seat, wait 12 minutes no one comes over get up and leave and never go again.

awful service

and why were all the staff wearing day time clothes and not uniforms?

Been on for ages. naff quality though. terrible coffee, terrible juice. dreadful sausages

Tried this once and food was ok but I was really surprised that it was not a buffet - you have to order your bespoke breakfast.

When I went there I was the only person there - completely empty. Took 5 minutes for anybody to appear and seat me, even though I'd seen the chef and asked if anybody was around. He just said somebody will be out soon.

So waited 5 minutes to be seated at one of the 100% free tables!

Had my order taken and waited almost 15 minutes. It was reasonable quality but not great. I was told I could have as much as I like but would need to order the additional amounts separately if I wanted more or different items. After waiting 15 minutes the first time (remember - they were completely empty so why so long e.g. what was the chef doing???) I really couldn't be bothered to sit and wait another 15 minutes for a couple of extra things.

Much of the other items (continental) were also not just freely available - you have to order almost everything. Things like jam and chocolate spreads are there which you can just take, BUT you have to order toast - there isn't even a toaster available to Joe Public - you know, the person who is paying for this AYCE breakfast!

That on its own is utterly ridiculous - you have to order toast???

Clearly set up to put people off from doing what they expected to do in the first place - have a good hearty breakfast! This is clearly how they restrict their costs (reduce wasted food) and it was not a very nice experience at all. Probably why there was nobody in there at all!

Toby for me every time! And cheaper!!

Cold anyway as this is no "deal" - it's regular price and therefore a million miles away from being a deal! Oh, and it's a rubbish breakfast anyway!

OH YES!

Haha mixed reviews here. Everyone's tastes are different (no pun intended), and we're all entitled to our opinions. Doesn't appeal to everyone. :) x

When you add the unlimited drinks on to this deal, it's not such a great one! you can go to a local greasy spoon and have a huge breakfast for £3.99 including tea!!!!!
