Quick question, is it possible to buy this now for use later, later as in maybe 3-4 months down the line?

Isn't this just one of their new standard SIM only tariffs launched on the 15th July?

I see they're offering £2 off introductory on: 600mins/AYCE data/4GB Tethering Hotspot for £18 on 12month contact

OK, wasn't sure if I'd missed something there...... shame all networks have jacked up prices since a year ago when their One plan was £15 !

I get this from orange at £15 but for unlimited everything including data and tethering on a 30 day rolling contract , not sure if three will be faster though

how can this be £2.00 off? The ayce contract was £20 a few days go, then a few days later it was £23, now it is still £23 with a £2.00 introductory reduction. it doesnt make sense?

I think you get £2 off the £18 for a few months and then it goes back up (hence why its called introductory) I'm not sure though and my phone won't let me look at the moment.

Do Three throttle data speeds?

Would this tariff work in an ipad?

Usually, three won't let you put a voice SIM into a tablet or dongle .... cus I tried it last year and got a message saying you can't use yourSIM this way. Was my son's 200mins, unltd texts and AYCE data SIM

It says on the bottom of the page:

How long does the £2 off introductory offer last?
If the plan you have selected is marked “With £2 off: introductory offer” you just need to sign up by 30 September to get the advertised monthly price which takes this offer into account. This is the price you will pay for your plan throughout your contract with us.

online chat says the £18 is discounted rate. Interesting though as I was looking at this deal a couple of days ago and it was £18 without any indication of an introductory offer.

Wouldn't it be better to get three's Pay As You Go - All in One £15 sim?

£15 a month (no contracts)
All-you-can-eat data
300 minutes
3000 texts.

I'd rather have unlimited texts, and sacrifice 100 minutes.

plus you cant tether with the Pay As You Go - All in One £15 sim plan "Pay As You Go plans do not allow tethering. If you would like to tether, you will need to choose a Pay Monthly plan and / or an Add-On that does allow tethering. "
#31
Can anyone with one of the new Three SIM-only plans confirm whether add-ons are still available?
The £10 a month SIM with the AYCE data add-on for £3 a month would be cheaper, but I'm not sure if it's still an option...
#32
Better to pay £18 for unlimited everything and tethering from 3...

Can confirm that, and it was only a 1 month rolling contract. Thats what I'm on at the moment. Same details minus tethering.

well only 4gb tethering...

but, at least the £18 one is only a one month contract rather than 12!

How/where? I'd ditch my 'The One Plan' contract with Three and move to EE if it were available

if you have a 4G device in a 4G area do you get 4G speeds with this contract?

4gb is next to useless.http://www.soupdrago.tk/oh.jpg
might be because they are still rolling it out throughout the uk.

Peoples reading comprehension is pretty bad, the poster isn't saying 4G is next to useless, but that 4GB is next to useless, in terms of you can only tether for 4GB of data, if you ask me that's not too bad.

4G is the norm with all of Three's data plans as long as your area is covered, otherwise you get 3G (but it isn't fixed, if you visit another part of town, you'll still get 4G etc.)

True, but Three wanted to give 4G for free to everyone so they had to increase the charge, What a cunning game by Three.

Yup, which brings me onto my question - how the hell is this getting heat? Sure they've recently added international calls within your allowance and cheap/free 08 calls, but this tarriff has gone from £12.90, to £15 briefly (missus got this price instore last month) and now £18.

I've just come out of a 2 year contract with Three and despute arguing the toss for 40+ minutes with cancellations they wouldn't budge on £18 p/m rolling, which i've accepted as no other network remotely compares for data.
