it's not technically through uSwitch as Three themselves are offering this deal on their website - I've just signed up for this exact deal myself after many years in the 4G wilderness with Virgin.

And yeah I have Feel at home also.

I tried the Feel at Home, and got a slap for my troubles :(

Nuts, I didn't use Quidco - I used Topcashback instead. TCB had it as only £26.25

https://www.topcashback.co.uk/3-mobile/

I doubt they'd match it.

Is this an advanced plan?

Is this an advanced plan?

No, it's essential so no tethering or at home allowance, but you can buy those seperately apparently.

#edit

aha, apparently TCB do a "highest cashback guarantee" so they should match quidco's one - nice :)

Almost got this yesterday, what the net like? Is there an app to let you know how much you've got left data wise?

I was on this exact same plan, I upgraded to 8gb for an extra £4 a month.

If you go through mobileshop.com it's £10 cash back through them and £50.50 TCB.

I haven't properly started using it yet - i'm porting my number over from Virgin, which will be done on Tuesday, so I'll see how it goes then. It'll be my first time using 4G so i'm hoping it'll be good.

Anytime at home allowance cheapest seems to be £16

Is there a way I can use my current 3 number on this account, and still get TCB

Got last week from the 'The HUKD Sim only thread - all of the cheapest sim only deals and free sim offers' thread
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/hukd-sim-only-thread-cheapest-sim-only-deals-free-sim-offers-2481975

Was with Three on their 3-2-1 PAYG plan, all fine as a light user, but then they switched on 4G in my area so a monthly deal was more sensible. Second best result as below, indoors around half the download speed.

Yea, download the three app from playstore

I just rung Virgin to get my PAC code and was told that I could have 4g from Monday, for £14, thats 2000mins, 5000 texts and 4gb of 4g data. Think he said his name was Pinnochio.
Still a fiver more and deal still not as good as 3. I kow that 3 haven't always had the best reputation, but I might be tempted to give it a try.

Wife and I are paying £9 for unlimited call and text with 4GB and feel at home with tethering 8GB available for £12 if you get the right person.

Just got it today and my phone's not picking up 4G at all! south west London as well so should be getting 4G

I got this deal a few weeks ago and had a terrible experience. No signal at all. Awful customer service. Made multiple calls to customer service and had multiple live chats to try and cancel during the 14 day cooling off period. Cancelling during the cooling off period was very difficult. I was left without a phone for a week while they deactivated my SIM and then I had to chase them for my PAC code, as they sent it to my deactivated number. They kept on giving me the hard sell trying to get me to pay for a month so they could give me my PAC code straight away. I had such poor service I refused to pay a penny, which meant I was left without a phone as the only way to cancel without paying was by deactivating my SIM.

I just purchased and it tracked at £30 even though quidco states 4gb or more tariffs is £50. Might raise a query

Ring up & see if they'll move you across to the new deal.

If they don't, request a PAC code & get another free sim (eg 02). Order the sim in thus deal. Then get a PAC code for the 02 sim and port across to the new 3 Sim....

Thus benefiting from extra 2Gb data for less money...but will require some time & effort!!

I'm afraid you've been a little misled. It's not a 4GB contract, it's a 1GB contract with free upgrade to 4GB. So cashback is £30 not £50.

Three are brilliant in my experience, they deal with all requests quickly. They do give you the run around when you try to leave granted. I think if you get a good signal in you're area like I do there isn't another network that can touch them in terms of value and service. I get 70meg where I leave and love it.
#31
Im in London, and i get 2-3 bars from ID Mobile who use Three, would going directly to Three change this?

even my mobile was using 'Cell Standby' or something under battery stats, which ended up using around 200mAh throughout a day, I've never seen that before with any other network, apparently it was my phone trying to boost the signal.

Make a claim through Topcashback for their highest cashback guarantee... That way it'll be even better than the Quidco offering....

I'm an existing customer and got the advanced plan for £10 pm.
Call them, if they don't budge, ask for a PAC code then call them bk with a bluff from which they might do something for you

I would keep an eye out for another deal like the BT one which was 60p a month for the identical package... can't imagine why anyone would pay £9. We've had our voucher and cashback through on the BT deal. It comes up every now and then.

"Three Essential Plan 4GB for the price of 1GB 4GB data. All-you-can-eat minutes. All-You-Can-Eat texts. 12 month contract. £9.00 a month." - from the product page on the Three website. So 1GB contract with free 4GB upgrade for presumably 12months.

Topcashback is the same apparently - people thinking because it says 4GB it's a 4GB contract when it's actually only 1GB with a freebie upgrade, so cashback is at the lower rate.

Still a pretty good price at effectively £6.50 a month. I'm tempted.

Mine has tracked at the lower rate, and you are correct, 1GB, plus 3 fpr free. Still a good deal. I have jumped from Giff Gaff to this and porting my number.

They are right, this has been posted before and went sky high, but the cash back was always at the lower level.

Don't forget the refer a friend trick, you can refer yourself with a different email and both get vouchers. Have a goodie for it, think its £50 in total.
