Includes:

* Unreal (including Return to Na Pali expansion pack)
* Unreal II: The Awakening
* Unreal Tournament (Game of the Year Edition)
* Unreal Tournament 2004 (Editors Choice Edition)

*Basically all the good unreal games except the new sucky UT3 which imo killed unreal.

I know there pretty old games but UT2004 is a gem still today and is definitely worth that alone, saw this when a member from my old Unreal clan was looking for a new copy after losing his.

UT GOTY is my favourite game - I thought it was much than Quake 3.

Excellent deal. Worth it for UT2004 alone. If there are still servers running it, I might indulge myself.

I run a number of UT2004 servers - look out for the Larry The Labrat servers ;-)

In fairness, UT3 isn't actually that bad - it's just the carpy console driven menus that spoil it for me. There's nothing quite as satisfying as trapping someone in a slo-mo block then firing a ton of missiles at him :D

Just thought i'd note that as well as the games, this compilation also comes with a 23-track soundtrack on a seperate CD. Makes it an even better purchase and great price for ut2004 alone

Temporarily out of stock now, my old clan was a racing clan it wasn't a very well known game type as it was a modified game type in Assault mode.

If you look for servers in Assault look for Racing or lowlifescum.com in the server name I bet you there be great.. :D

Or at least When I ran the lowlifescum servers they were fantastic not sure anymore. :P

Longtime UT player here and I think UT3 is great (was playing it last night in fact). Not sure what you're whining about but I am willing to guess you don't actually own UT3 and are basing your opinions on some hearsay..

A already own all these, its well worth it.
I loved UT03 and 04(Linux support!), played them for aaages, got U3, and have played it once or twice, not sure why, I just don't enjoy it that much.
Unreal 2 is a brilliant FPS, the graphics are still fairly good today, absolutely love that game.

Speaking of U3, I'm going to play some now.

UT04 one of my favourite games ever. HOT

Can anyone confirm that the Editor's Choice Edition of UT2004 contains the video tutorials for modding UT2004 that were made by 3D Buzz?

I already have Unreal, Unreal II, Unreal Tournament, Unreal Tournament 2004 and Unreal Tournament III (Special Edition). I don't have the ECE version of UT2004, which on original release I believe was a 2 DVD set only available in the USA and contained the winning community mods of the Make Something Unreal Contest and the 3D Buzz video tutorials.

If this collection has all that stuff, I'm very tempted. The music CD is just a bonus (but a nice one!).

How many discs is this collection supposed to be? I can't see how they could fit all the games and mods onto one DVD...

Hot price just for Unreal Tournament 2004

UT3 is great - especially with the recent (and FREE) update that adds tons of maps and new modes.

If you haven't already grabbed the new patch and the titan pack for UT3 I'd highly recommend it - when I first played UT3 I didn't think it was bad, the main issue was that it didn't really do anything different than the previous games. However I really like the new 'Greed' mode and the Titan mutator as they're still very much Unreal in being fast paced and brutal but something a bit different than before. In this mode each time a player is killed they drop the skulls they are carrying, if they have none then they drop a single skull - you have to pick up these skulls and take them to the enemy flag point scoring a point for each skull you're carrying. As the game develops more and more skulls come onto the field of play as more people try to get them through to the enemy base and get shot to pieces by the defence. As it reaches the stage where you're carrying enough skulls to win the game four times over more and more people can be come titans - they can't touch the skulls any more but they make for a very strong defence/offence, trying to get to the enemy base with three hundred odd skulls while two titans battle it out is quite enjoyable. The skulls/titans also tie in well with the vehicles as a single player with a ton of skulls can inflict serious damage to vehicles due to the damage modifier they get as can titans.

My main complaint with UT3 is the performance requirements as it needs a fairly hefty machine to play at a decent resolution smoothly, with this type of game having an unstable or low framerate is really unacceptable. Definitely a great deal on the older games, does the original UT run ok under Vista or are there any issues to be aware of?

Yes I do own UT3 on steam and DVD-Rom when it was released and I was a Beta player but still UT2004 was miles better, Both my two old UT clans no longer really play UT2004 or UT3 and have moved on to other games, they still have UT2004 servers as they occasionally play but both skipped UT3 altogether.

Yup they do, If you have a dual core 64bit machine there is a patch you can install to optimize them though.
#20
Does the x64 patch install from the disc or is it a download?
