unusual fruit trees (plum & greengage) half price now £9.97 each delivered at D.T. Brown
link is to the 2-tree collection of plum and greengage specially bred from wild style plums by octogenarian expert Tommy Bevis on the Isle of Wight
Free delivery code is DC12GY6
It is actually cheaper to buy the trees individually at £9.97 each than 2 for £19.95
if you buy any 3 trees then if you add an Apple Tree "sunset" you will get that one free
I bought 2 of Tommys greengages and one Plum, got the free apple plus was also offered a free packet of Leek seeds, total 29.91 for 4 trees, delivered
I know Lidl and Aldi do small fruit trees in a bag for £3.99, i have bought them myself before, but you will not find these varieties there. (usually Victoria and Opal plum would be the generally available varieties)
These will be bare-rooted trees but still plenty of time to plant and are likely to be decent specimens

well the best of british luck with that vicar, we got one of those from poundstretcher last year a small stick in a bag with hardly any roots which died before it came into leaf
compare like with like, to some extent you get what you pay for
wild plums, crazy prices

Was not a stick (neither was it from Poundstretcher)
IMHO I AM comparing like for like.
Tree looks to be doing fine ................
this one has been bred from a wild plant by some old boy from the isle of wight
i think you will find the aldi, lidl and poundstretcher trees are all sourced from the same vast dutch? nurseries
if your tree survives i hope you enjoy your crop of greengages in due course!
