A great feel good family film at a relatively cheap price in comparison to rivals: HMV £21, Zavvi £17.85 and Asda £17.93.

78-year-old Carl Fredricksen has always dreamed of seeing the rainforests of South America. To achieve this, Carl comes up with the spectacular scheme of tying thousands of balloons to his house and floating around the world. However, upon take-off he realises he has a stowaway; Russell, an 8 year old who has the same intrepid instinct as Carl.

Winner of the Academy Awards for Best Animated Feature & Best Original Score.

interesting use of the term 'feel good'. my OH and daughter (not me, honest!) cried like babies when we watched this.

i got the dvd/blu combi pack of UP for less a while back and its not even a new film now
ridiculous that this is the best current price for it though the rivals seem to be handpicked to be high
same price on amazon btw where you can also get the up superset for 11.93 which is alot better value even if useless for those after dvd only
