just ordered this watch: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B002VPDU2M/ref=ord_cart_shr?_encoding=UTF8&m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

i know its only really worth £50, so £28 is a bargain.

cheers :)

Ordered one of these. Don't think you'll come anywhere close to this price elsewhere.

All I can see is crap watches (apart from a couple) reduced heavily or I have missed out on them. Good watches are only reduced to around 40% which is usual.
Good find anyway OP

Cheers - good deal on a gold watch. I applied for a Amazon credit card and got an extra £15 off. Not a bad purchase for £20 - dead chuffed!

Depends why you return it. If its "faulty" then they will refund you postage.

Under Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you generally don't have to pay postage when returning unwanted goods within 7 days.

Although good luck trying to get some sellers to accept this.

£28.50. Should make a nice birthday present for my Dad. I'm hoping it will last a fair bit longer than his current £6 Asda watch :)

wow thats good.

My boss has an excellent KC watch that I think cost a fair wad.

I would have some of this but I bought a couple of the Henleys watches that were posted the other week as spares (well for casual wear) and the missus blew her top.

Just had to send a police watch back which had a problem with the strap. You complete the returns form online, print out the label and DHL collect it from your door for nothing! Good service thus far!

not entirely true. if the seller provides durable pre-contractual information and it includes a clause that returns must be paid for by the customer, you have to pay for their return. the only instances you dont have to pay for return are if you cancel the order before you physically receive it or if the item is faulty, not what you ordered or a substitute item. although some shops will collect for nothing, most catalogues do.

one of the things that bugs me about some shops is they say they cant cancel an order and you need to wait to receive it and give them a call. by doing this it means you wont be able to exercise your rights under the DSRs and have to pay for their return, so make sure you send a letter, fax or email informing of your cancellation request before you receive the item.

deal ends in 70mins !

can anyone help...

the watch I like has a horrible strap which is 19mm, but the strap I want I can only find in 18 or 20mm. Should I get the larger or smaller strap... will the bigger one squeeze in or the smaller on jiggle too much? :)
