Received an email today for bt sim only deals for existing broadband customers.

Unlimited mins, texts and 12gb of data for £12 a month,12 months contract plus an amazon or iTunes gift card for £70

This is £4 a month cheaper than the current deal but not live yet so probably starting in the next few days

Can also be used with the family sim

Not sure if quidco or topcashback will track with this but after the gift card taken into account works out at £7 a month for unlimited texts mins and 12 gb of data

12GB for effectively £7 a month for looks pretty decent if you're already a BT customer. Not sure why this is going cold, but here's some heat from me :D

If true, then very likely a retention deal for a long term customer or staff discount I don't doubt.

I used to hear of these mythical deals when i was with virgin where people would claim they'd be paying £5 a month for unlimited everything and it often turned out they were either full virgin media customers and had been for ten years plus or they'd had a mate who worked for virgin sort them out.

That's the plan I'm currently on £10 for 30GB and 200mins.

Just upgraded to 600mins for £2 more but that doesn't come in to effect till end of the month. It's not a retention deal. My contract still has a few months remaining.

You don't have to threaten to leave. Start off on a low priced plan and offer to pay a bit more for extra data. Every time I tried that they gave me a good deal. The first price they offer, say that's too much for you and you're only looking to spend another £1/2 max on top of what you're paying

The price for 30gb of data and 200 minutes on Three's website is currently £25 quid

http://www.three.co.uk/standalone/priceplan-details?planid=1400624177830

30gb of data and 600 minutes a month is also £29 a month as well.

http://www.three.co.uk/standalone/priceplan-details?planid=1400624183326

So you either are on a retention deal and you haven't been told, you got the deal at £9.57 through "mate's rates" or some third party reseller or you're making it up.

Why would I make it up? Doesn't benefit me in any way. You want to pay full price for everything, you shouldn't really be on this site. Three have sales a few times a year. The plans you mentioned were only £20pm a few weeks back. So it's only a £8 discount they're offering me. Have a search on here and you'll see the sale offers

What are you talking about? My contract ends in September. How is it a retention deal?

I started a bt contract last week, 20gb unlim mins and unlim texts for £16 with a £95 amazon voucher
(equates to £97 net or £8.08 per month)
#19
I’m paying £15 a month to Three for 30GB and unlimited calls and texts. So am sure the other offers stated on here are true. It’s only the Essential plan but I was happy. The BT deal is good though - especially with a £70 voucher. Heat added.

Wifi calling coming August / September

How's this compared to Virgin (data speed wise), I'm aware they both use EE but max Virgin can offer is 25 mbps whereas EE a lot faster. Can anyone share their experiences.

34/13 For me, I don't see the point in paying BT for "extra fast" data, that's more than enough for me.

Now look on the sky website at their monthly charges, I just got a letter saying I could have the complete package for £32 a month, bet that's not on the website.

Where did you get that from ?, just been on there chat and they said there not supporting it and also i can not find anything about that. one of the reasons i am not going with bt as i like the wifi calling for poor locations.
#29
Quidco available on this also? Great deal if so...
#30
Where can i find this deal on the BT website? Or has it not gone live yet?
#31
Per TCB:

Cashback will be declined for BT employees as they cannot claim cashback with their order.Customers that claim cashback will not be eligible for a voucher. A customer looking to purchase a BT Mobile product can either claim a voucher or cashback, not both.Using a promotional/voucher code not posted and approved by TopCashback.

I still see the prices that have been there for a while nothing like what's quoted by OP.

Customer Services told me when I tried to cancel to go to EE. You're going to need the same phones that EE support i.e. iPhone or one of a limited range of Android phones ***with EE's firmware installed***

Please could I have some help deciding what to go for.
This deal on 20gb, i'm currently a bt customer but that ends this month so £25 per month - £90 voucher = £17.50 with very slim chance of cashback..

or

EE - 20gb @ £21 a month less 20% civil service discount so £16.8 and a presumably thin chance of cashback!

Tired of crap signal with Vodafone
#38
I cannot get it to show £12 - continues to show £16.

Hold off until Friday. OP got an email about upcoming deals, the current voucher deal runs out on Friday. Hoepfully that's when the new offers kick in. It should be cheaper :)

Anyone actually got this to show on the website? Shows as £16 for me.
