shame it don't work on sim only. That would be a bargain.

i had orange broadband before.... i got many connection issues during the first 2 MONTHS, meaning internet was down for several periods... When I called them, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. After waiting for 30mins to speak to someone, they would make me go through level 1 support in india (omg the accent is a hugh issue as you can barely understand) going through all the basic steps of setting up a router for about 1 HOUR. ie stuff like unplug all cables, plug phone line, disconnect all phones etc..restart computer

After the lengthy process, they would say, issue will be escalated, please wait 5 working days! everytime i would call them to chase, they would try to make me go through the basic steps again and again..and when finally argued with them to check the status of issue, they would say please wait 5 more working days as no one has responded.

Final straw was when my internet stayed disconnected for 6 WEEKS after being with them for 2months, I quit and now I am with sky (had 1 connection issue ONCE only which was resolved over the phone by an IT advisor within 30mins of me calling them!)

The future is bright, but not with ORANGE BB

This is why they relaunched. they "said" they have fixed all these issues now.

Sorry Gary, don't like to mess up your deal but my experience with Orange has been very bad, the issues that I've been having for the last month are certainly not fixed!

Haven't voted either way by the way, think it's a good price.

If you're not interested in the mobile side of things then you can get 8Mb unlimited broadband and phone line rental for £17.99 if you threaten to leave. You have to start a new contract but if you want to stay anyway it's a way of getting a good price.

ORANGE ARE FULL OF C**p regarding this deal
i am presently with orange broadband and pay £6 month for limited broadband - been with them a while so negotiate a lower price every time
next door neighbour has a orange mobile contract as stated in deal and i told him about it
on phoning up he was told he was outside the 'network area' and would have to pay a special price of £15 a month
strange how i live next door and am in the network area , yet when you put my details in online i am not
scam to get people on the phone to them so they can sell you stuff !!!!!

My parents now pay £7 a month (plus phone line rental, same as bt) for unlimited internet and free anytime calls to landlines and orange mobiles. You should be able to get that price down a bit as all that extra stuff is worth more than a quid!

that a good deal thanks for that , will get it down lower in another 12 months when i say i am leaving

This one seems very fishy to me , I am currently on free orange broadband from the last time they offered this deal a couple of years ago, I have just rang up out of curiosity and they tell me I am not in the NETWORKING area, seems strange to me , I think maybe this time round they are using LLU exchanges you can check whether your exchange is LLU enabled here:

http://www.samknows.com/broadband/btadsl-league.php

All other free broadband opeartors Sky , TalkTalk ,etc only use LLU exchanges.

Be sure to check before signing up for a mobile contract

I have Orange broadband and have no problems.

I was on Wanadoo, then got free Orange when my wife renewed her phone contract at £30 per month. At her next renewal they reduced the monthly contract to £20 per month, gave her a free blackberry with unlimited data, and we kept the free broadband.

I download loads of demos/games on Xbox and PS3, and have never had any issues with usage limits.

does anyone know if orange does not give me the new i900 for free when i threaten to leave, if i do get my pac and leave does this affect my £5.00/mnth broadband deal? both the phone and broadband are out of their contracted times [ i had for 2yrs + ]??

also whats the best way to attempt to leave? 150 or 343, i think they are realising the iphone is no longer a threat, and not giving the i900 away for free now,

im on £35.00 mnth contract and customer since 1995. never really go over the 35.00

Looks like vodafone is the best deal at moment.

thanks
