I forgot to mention that reading through the reviews it would seem that they come with 2 car cords, 2 mains cords, 2 remotes, 2 pairs of headphones and a carry bag - and they can be used completley independantly of 1 another :o)

UPDATE: :

picked mine up earlier aswell and have noticed that one of them has phono IN/OUT function meaning that it could be used as a TV with the aid of a cheap power inverter (£15 ish) a freeview box (£10 ish) and a scart to phono convereter (comes free with many games consoles or pence on ebay) and some kind of aerial rigged up (£5 ish) or you could use it for the kids favourite games console .... this will only work on one of them though as the other has phono output only enabling it to work as a slave for the other screen.

This is my eyes makes it 100000000000000000000 times better than I anticipated, it also plays backed up DVD's which many DVD player wont, fantastic piece of kit, good find op ..... oh, that was me!

Thanks, these look great - just what I need!
#3
no worries, seen a few offers for 7" screens lately and almost bought some, but glad I held out as ive no doubt the extra 2 inches'll make all the difference - fnar fnar!
#4
dont think 9 inch is much advantage in the car as its the same low res as standard 7 inch but outside of the car would be useful.
#5
I take your point but if youve ever strained your eyes to actually watch a 7" screen im sure any extra would be advantageous!
#6
great find, reserved one out of three in bel vale liverpool
thanks.

i dont know if i rate these in general. as a kid we used to drive from london to scotland, with just my imagination and music on tapes. i remember i put the audio of Die Hard on a cassette and listened to it as i'd seen the movie so many times i could practically watch it in my head

Yeah thats the one. In costco at mo they're £101, whereras they are £136 on Amazon so thought it was work a go as had been waiting months for a bargain and never saw one. The bush gets the better review and unlike the coby can play 2 seperate dvds. also the extra size has got to be better...

Just reserved some, excellent price to erase the cries of 'Are we nearly there yet' just as I'm pulling the car out of the driveway!
#21
Yes I can relate to that. We used to go from Newcastle to Scotland listening to my dads Dire Straits and Eagles casettes, needless to say, 20 years later I can name any song by the first few bars of the intro!!!

Great stuff - thanks! Just had to go for these at this price - think the kids will be well pleased!
#23
WOW.....missed out on the Tesco ownbrand 7"dual DVD screens about a month ago which was around £100 so I am really glad that these have come up, reserved one for collection. If your worried about the manufacturer Bush - buy the three year extended warranty for an extra £26 - could we worth it in the long run. Great Deal voted HOT ;)
#24
thank you will need to get the wife to drive now
#25
Thanks, just what I was looking for, heat added.

Also just bought one from Rugby, plenty of stock about in Cov and Leamington area. Top find just what I was after. Thanks OP.
#27
Just been and bought one of these. Have set it up and I am very impressed for the money. Good screens. Easy to set up and use and the buttons are on the top to stop the kids from meddling. I'm actually looking forward to the drive to Devon later in the year now. Kids will be very happy.

Same here - only it was Newcastle to Scotland with my Dad's tapes of the Police and Madness. Kids today don't know they're born etc etc ;-). Will be picking my set up tomorrow.
#36
same here only it was Chris De'Bleurgh! ..... hence why I dont want my son suffering the same horrific fate!
#37
Just picked mine up & they look great. Will be a heaven send when the youngest wants to watch one thing while the other watches something else. Thanks.
#38
How does the dvd load on these, is it motorised ?
#39
no not motorised, the front flips down and it sits behind, it isnt damped so needs a degree of care.
#40
does anyone know if these have a battery pack- want one i can take on the plane!
Thanks
