I noticed spiderman 3 on the xbox 360 is only £22.99 delivered + a free media remote & 4% quidco, which seems excellent value.

Also Pokemon Diamond is only £19.99 delivered on the Nintendo DS + 4% Quidco.

World Snooker Championship 2007 on xbox 360 is £17.99 delivered + 4% cashback, making it £6 cheaper than anywhere else.

Sounds good, but the link comes up with no results for me?

Srap that, works fine, must be me:?

Link doesn't work for me.

However if you click on their special offers it does appear to be there - i sthis the free t-shirt offer/mix 'n' match?

If so pretty much everything seems to be out of stock now.

The link seems to be working for me but it's on the homepage if you click on the banner.

I have ordered Heatseeker for the Wii as it will make a good present and for £13 can't go wrong. Voted hot.

just a note: Many of these are silly prices compared with elsewhere - silly as in expensive! Look at GBA games for example - Monster House, which I paid £2.96 delivered at uwish, is £17.99!
#8
Smarties Meltdown on the PS2 could be great value at just £2.98 including delivery and you'll receive a free Atari T-shirt, which they sell for around a tenner. :)
#9
Banjo Pilot GBA £6.99....bargain thanks :)

That's one example though, is Uwish cheaper with every single game, for example, Smarties Meltdown is £2.98 at shopto with a free T-shirt, how much would that cost?

The fact of the matter is, some retailers are cheaper with some products but when you combine all the companies who go out of there way to get the lowest prices, the customer is the winner overall, as it's impossible for a single company to have the best prices with every game.

By the way, i have noticed Uwish have some brilliant prices but they're normally for GBA (which is a very old handheld) and for games that are quite old, I haven't noticed any good prices for recent games on the next generation consoles.

I don't know why this has suddenly started to receive cold votes, it's for a sale with a big selection of games with a lot of good prices, .

Wow, i'm still holding on to Virtua Tennis i purchased from Blockbusters to trade in..... do you think if i bought Heatseeker as well, i could trade the pair for a Xbox 360 wireless adapter?

I really need one for my other 360. :whistling:

Yep. VT3 is still £26 credit at Blockbuster. I traded a copy in and got Tiger Woods 08 for £9.99. Only paid £9 delivered for VT3 off eBay so worked out at a bargain £18.99 for Tiger. :-D (also got Vegas for £10 off eBay and got £19 credit for that.........it's all building up, just wish i knew what to buy with my creds. lol)

Wow, how did you manage to get VT3 for £9 on ebay, you lucky so and so? :whistling:

I was thinking about buying Tiger Woods 2008 from Gamestation for £30.99 but was put off by there slow delivery times, which i know has improved but it's still quite bad, is it any good, as i enjoyed the demo but it seems there hasn't been too many improvements since i bought the 2004 edition? :giggle:

I think it's best to try and trade items in for products that don't lose value, for example, you'll always need xbox live and points but they'll never reduce the price of those because there's a very small profit margin to be made but if you can't think of how to spend it...... you could always give them to me.

By the way, do you know how to findout how much each individual item is worth as trade ins at Blockbuster or do you just call up every time you buy something cheap? :giggle:

Got it on Buy It Now a while ago. :-D

I'll keep saving the credits and wait for the Xbox 720 or whatever they'll call it. :giggle:

I have a Blockbuster just a couple of miles away so i just run it down there and get them to scan it in and give me a price. If it's decent then i'll just sell it on for the credits, if not then shove it back on eBay. LOL

As for Tiger 08 it's much improved this year. They re-mapped some of the controls so it's a lot easier to add extra power and spin on the ball and the Career mode is much better (Plus even more courses this year). Also got Stuntman and that's a good brainless laugh and passes the time.

Damn, just called Blockbuster and they said they no longer offer VT3 as part of there exchange offer for a new game. :-(

By the way, do you have to be a member of Blockbuster?
My bros a member but to a different branch, would that make any difference?

I really want Tiger Woods now, i used to love the 2004 edition and was brilliant at it, plus on the demo, i keep getting birdies and eagles for every hole, even on my first attempt.

Good luck with the next xbox though..... it's not coming out for at least a few years but by that time, you'll probably have enough money to buy every next gen console on the market with your saved up credit. :giggle:

You can get Blue Dragon for £20 from Gamestation when bought with any new game. So in other words Tiger 08 and Blue Dragon for £50. If you trade in Blue Dragon at BB you'll get £26 or just flog it on Ebay....
Don't forget Quidco....

Hey Syzable - what if BB goes into administration like Choices? I had £70 credit with BB but thought I'd better use it just to be on the safe side....

For people like me (who cannot remember a password to save their lives) Shop to's website is quite possibly one of the worst in existence.. I ask for a password reminder and it says I don't have an account and makes me create one at which point it says hang on you've now got two accounts your account is now suspended..! AAARRGGHHH!!!!

All I wanted was Killzone and a free t-shirt...

Strange about VT3 as they update their lists each Friday and it's still available at the Peterborough store. I don't know whether you have to be a member as i already am and have been for years, might be worth asking.

gari189 - Yeah, i thought about that too. I think i'll get Halo 3 from there at the end of the month and might also get some Live points as there is some good games coming soon. :)

Don't forget that these offers expire today from the sale, so make sure you're quick and don't delay, otherwise you'll miss out. :)

Blockbusters has a stronger parent company, so losses can be absorbed, but only up to a certain limit... the best advice is only take the risks you're happy with. BB do seem to be one of the few companies anticipating the end of DVD rental though, but i'd put money on them having 50% fewer shops in a couple of years time. Many of their UK stores are reported to be running their leases down. You've possibly noticed the reduction in staff members over the last year too. Everything will change when movie downloads begins to take off, Choices are just the first casualty
