Upgrade to Windows XP and get a FREE gift certificate worth £40 at Amazon.co.uk

Buy Windows XP Home Upgrade before 30 September 2006 or Windows XP Professional Upgrade before 15 November 2006, and within a week we shall send you a £40 gift certificate that can be spent on anything you like from Amazon.co.uk.

Simply use the promotional code which appears on your e-mail gift certificate when you make your next purchase, and £40 will be deducted from your order total at checkout. The promotional code can only be used once, so to take full advantage of your gift certificate, be sure that the value of your order is £40 or more before you check out.

But hurry--gift certificates must be used by midnight on 30 November 2006!

Buyer beware .... This is an Upgrade version and as such will NOT allow you to upgrade to Vista when it is released in January. Also be aware that come December Microsoft will be offering free upgrades to Vista if you buy a computer with XP on it ......

Just worth knowing befor buying ......

But when will Vista be the main OS for most people and even more important when its bug free?

I think at least Dec 2007 before it runs smoothly and another year or so before its even close to being main stream.
