My favourite game (by a long stretch) this year.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege is part of the acclaimed first-person shooter franchise developed by the renowned Ubisoft Montreal studio.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege invites players to master the art of destruction. Intense close quarters confrontations, high lethality, tactics, team play, and explosive action are at the center of the experience. The gameplay sets a new bar for intense firefights and expert strategy in the rich legacy of past Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six games.

The starter edition will drain your time dry. It requires too much renown (game currency) to unlock normal operaters, compared to the standard edition for a mere £1 more. 12500 renown compared to 500-2000. If you value your time and the chance to unlock more within a shorter (much shorter!) time period, get the normal game.

How good is situations mode on this? I loved Vegas and Vegas 2 but don't fancy online play so much with this one

don't bother with this game then the situations are just tutorials and the terrorist hunts are impossible as a lone wolf.

Uhm...If he can't lone wolf a terrorist hunt, he isn't good at games. Trust me, if you don't run in like it's call of duty, you'll get through it fairly easily.

To answer your original question, Rainbow Six Siege is more of a multiplayer game, so, the terrorist hunt section is a smaller part. You may like it, but would you just play that one mode? The terrorist hunt randomizes the scenario between: protect the hostage, terrorist hunt classic, extract the hostage and disarm the bomb. I got my 2500 terrorists killed achievement, yesterday! So, this is pretty timely.

Anyway, I'd suggest having a go of the game somewhere. That'll let you know how you feel after a couple of rounds.

I've completed a few TH missions on Realistic 8).

I can't see it for £12.41, code doesn't seem to work?

Has this expired?

How'd ya get it down to £12.41? After logging in the price is £25.59 and if you apply 20% discount that would make it £20.47 roughly.

UPDATE: discount invalid.
