These BLOK cases are really difficult to get off your iPad so don't buy if that is an issue for you !
You are correct. On and off is not easy. Not sure why you want to take it off regularly I've never needed to except to put the screen protector on (I did it wrong order) :P

Although it is a good price, you are better off paying the extra for an advanced.
The advanced features lightbridge so has a much better range.
I got my advanced with extra battery and carry case for £750 from dronesdirect.
.
__________

As far as I am aware the Advanced you are advocating is a lower model than the one in this deal, the Professional.

the one in this deal is the 4k which is not as good as the professional.

personally think the p8 lite is much better than this.
sod it, I'm buying this one for the wife. she only uses Facebook, eBay and WhatsApp and the camera is the same as the big one which seems pretty good to me. Not keen on the Chinese phones so will see how she gets on with this.

That's another one i'm looking out for. Gearbest have it with some good freebies but not risking customs!

Disappointing. 1x giga, but no USB 3.0! Still impressive how it survived 20-30min fire.

Anyone who needs that level of risk protection will be using an off-site backup solution. Ridiculous premium for a feature that hardly anyone will get any benefit from.
It's a premium because of what it offers. Off site storage is typically much slower to restore from. So if you were unfortunate enough to need the features this offers, it could be very useful.
Look at waterproof cases for cameras, camcorders, phones, tablets etc. They can cost a lot of money so there is precedent in the increase. Especially is its specialist like this.
If your office/home was flooded or burned to that degree, I'm pretty sure a slow remote restoration of files would be the least of your problems 8)
Not if your self employed or have other quick access files on it. Things like itemised details on insured goods etc.

Don't get me wrong it isn't for everyone but then again neither is caviar or £10k camera lenses. People will buy something if they have a use or can justify it.

IT SEEMS I HAVE TO KEEP POSTING THIS:All of these deals are based on the SaverStore misprices earlier tonight - all the same products. The Sculpt mouse was 30p (I 'bought' a few), those keyboards were 26p, 72p etc. Office 365 for £10. These sellers are just listing products they don't have, either automatically or in hope that they will get their orders from SaverStore. The prices they are listing are the SaverStore prices plus the postage added.
No Hedgy, you're wrong so there will be no need for you to keep repeating it X)
The prices are based on a distributors feed.
SaverStore, Buyur etc etc all use the same feeds from the same distributors. None of these VAR's are buying and selling from SaverStore. There was either a database error at the distributor end (most likely) or there was an error with the 3rd party software (unlikely, but possible) these VAR's use to pull in the price/description data.
Some VAR's use multiple distributors. That's why you will sometimes see the same item listed twice and different prices on the same website. One feed will be from one place where the price is correct and the lower one/incorrect one will be from a different place.

Well, you can prove anything with facts.

The pessimist inside me says no later than Monday for cancellation confirmation to be received from Flubit.
I stand a better chance than anyone who ordered from Buyur, i have ordered from them before and they cancelled my order saying the price they were selling at was incorrect.
I left negative feedback and got pestered on the phone for days asking me to remove my feedback.
Hopefully though i hope everyone who ordered will get them

got my nephew the official grip case for his moto g from amazon.de, in stock+quick posting=super service
both cases are great build quality, the £1 s-line case was getting grubby but was a good temp case.
You get charged in Euro so the only additional charge as such would be if your payment method charges you a fee for non UK transactions.

Some items actually get shipped from their warehouse in Milton Keynes even if ordered from the .de site as I guess that saves them shipping costs.

There is no import charge to worry about either as its all within the EU even if they do ship from Germany.
Hi KTF, I don't know that you could order off the 'wrong' site as I tried to do it with a kindle once and it wouldn't let me do it. Does that cost extra to do?

I am currently trying to get this router to work via DLNA to my devices, and been chatting with IT support people. Just had a disturbing reply that the router currently only support "xbox and window" DLNA clients.

Just warning, and frankly a bit disturbed about its response. I didn't think it matters what device is connected as long as it supports DLNA (like FTP I suppose - it doesn't check where its coming from).

Can This be used to hook an external drive up to act as a nas?

Yep, NAS, DLNA Server, FTP Server, take your pick.

Excellent. Kills 2 birds with 1 stone for me as I need a better speed router and also a nas. Just wonder what the samba speeds are like?

Wouldn't like to guess to be honest, but Network Shares and FTP all seemed "OK" to me. The ports are USB 2.0, but that shouldn't be an issue with mechanical drives. I'm not sure how much power the USB ports put out - the one I set up connected to a desktop (powered) HDD - don't know if they could support a usb-powered portable drive off a single port.

I used a WD Elements desktop HDD, and its "sleeps" and "wakes up" very nicely with this router. My guess is it would be cheaper to run than a separate NAS soluition, but only guessing.

That's great, thanks for the feedback

I may be talking out of turn here but I wouldn't spend that much on this brand, don't get me wrong, I have a similar model and it works perfectly well enough for me, I'd just rather pay more like £30 than over £60 on TPLink

If your interested in routers actually worth spending money on, check out Nvidia's gamestream-ready routers list, not because they run gamestream but because they're all very stable and fast equipment and worth the money. There are several you can get for under £100.

I haven't voted because I don't know how much this router usually sells for.

The only problem with the Nvidia recomended routers is that none have ADSL modem built in like this TP Link

I just had a look, you're right. I keep forgetting they make routers w/o modems so didn't bother checking. I stand by the thrust of my comment but the price gap has widened, possibly by a lot depending on your modem solution.

Dont' really follow your logic - I would either trust the brand or not. I personally have used their gigabit switches for a couple of years and they are excellent. As for this router, I can't think of an alternative that gives you so much at such a price point. Having had my hands on it (pardon the expression), it feels well made and looks smart. Performance-wise it has been excellent in all respects, and if I needed one for myself I'd seriously consider it.

Can you get a better ADSL/Cable/FTTC router at this price point, with all these features? I don't even think you can get close. The Billion 7800DXL for example is double this price.

The cheeky buggers...if i was in their shoes i will at least offer a £50 amazon vouchers in compensation for the hassle ... They are expecting people to sort out their mess for free
You willingly took part in this mess of your own volition very likely knowing that it was a mega misprice and now you want to cry wolf and say, “poor me, I’m a victim of this horrible injustice and deserve at least £50 to compensate me for the 60 seconds it took me to order it.”

And you call them cheeky!
So many morally bankrupt people on here.

Why are you browsing on this forum if you think this forum is full of bankrupt people? What does it make of you who insists to diverse yourself in conversations with 'bankrupt people'.

THIS IS A SHOPPING/MONEY SAVING WEBSITE AND THAT IS WHAT WE ARE ALL TRYING TO DO.

Now either your a little cheesed off that you didnt get one of these little laptops or your one of these amazon market sellers.

We all bought a item in GOOD FAITH, i have received legal advice who confirmed to me today that the seller cannot do anything if i had received and signed for the goods...the contract has been made. The sellers have used bully tactics to scare some buyers into forcing them to cancel the order.

The seller needs to sort out there dropshipping/wholesale system if a middle mane is not to be trusted.

But you my friend seem to be a little boy who has spat out his dummy because he didnt get his share of the milk. Do your own self a favour and get off the forum :)

my choice in building rigs, never had 1 issue unlike the intel "i" offerings that come back on a semi regular basis.AMD=stable,

No reason to use intel i series when you can use Xeon E3's (1230v2 is really cheap).

(I normally use AMD's (Other than laptops) but I didn't manage to find a decent board. (Tyan and Supermicro - Tyan ones won't take above 75W - Supermicro doesn't even have one)).

Very expensive for an end-of-life socket AM3+ motherboard. Won't be future proof, better to go for an socket FM2 motherboard that will be compatible with Trinity and the next generation of AMD APUs,
It's the constant question though isn't it, do I go for an older socket and pick up a cheaper CPU or the newest socket, spend more money (or skimp on performance) and hope they don't release a new socket before I'm ready to upgrade.

In reality, besides Intel being unusually generous with the 1155 socket having two processor generations on it, every time I try to "future proof" my rig in this way I end up not doing it.

If you want "future proof" (ridiculous idea anyway) just invest in good cooling and overlockability, that way when you start getting left behind by advances in performance you can just up the clocks.
