URGENT - Stamp Price Increase Reminder - Current Stamp Deals Inside - Stock Up Before Price Increase On 30th April - NEW PRICES NOW IN EFFECT £0.36

Mikey91Mikey91

The Superdrug and WHSmith deals appear to now be over, current deals on stamps include:

Costco: 6.8% off first class. 2.9% off 2nd class

Staples: Some people are having success ordering stamps with Staples with small value items which will net you 9.09% TCB

Even if you can't get a discount on stamps, it's best to stock up now before the increase in price after 30th April

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a reminder for people who use stamps a lot to stock up before the price rise on April 30th.

1st class rise from 46p to 60p - 2nd class from 36p to 50p on 30 April. Stock up now, if they say 1st or 2nd class not cost they stay valid after the rise

Superdrug are still running their 5% off promotion (possibly only on 1st Class Stamps) - thanks mutley1

Superdrug allows a maximum of 72 stamps per person per day

WHSmith discount appears to be store specific - thanks to HesFamily4

Staples are offering 9.09% TopCashBack - thanks sheely-wheely

These are pretty big rises so stock up before the rise!

WHSmith are still doing 5% off both 1st and 2nd Class stamps too!
- HesFamily4

This is also useful for paying for the postage of larger packages after the 30th April as you can pay for all postage in stamps rather than cash.

Just reiterate - generic 1st and 2nd class stamps WILL still be valid after the price increase. Stamps with monetary value printed on them will be worth less after the increase as far as I can see.

Thought I'd post so people are prepared and aren't caught out :) I accept small price rises but these rises are extremely steep.

I originally made this an offline deal and linked it to Royal Mail as it looks like the Superdrug offer is instore only. Tbf, even if you can't get to a Superdrug, stocking up at normal price is better than waiting until after the price hike.

bad news for my online post account :(

Special Delivery rates are through the roof now. I try and avoid wherever possible unless I'm sending really high valuable goods through the post.

But will these old ones be valid if the prices go up on them or you will need to put two stamps on your parcel?

Any generic 1st or 2nd class stamps will be valid. Only stamps with money value printed on them will be affected. So buying your standard book of stamps will still work after the price increase.

    From Ocado Terms & Conditions:

    Money off your shop Vouchers

Entitles you to money off your total shop. The Voucher will state the amount that will be deducted from your bill, how much you need to spend in order to get money off (if applicable), Voucher codes, in which order to use them and the Voucher expiry date. Where the Voucher does not state a minimum spend, you must spend a minimum of £75 to be entitled to redeem your Voucher. The order total, which you must reach to qualify for the offer, is inclusive of VAT, but generally exclusive of any delivery charge and the cost of cigarettes, cigars, tobacco, postage stamps and infant formula.
