Where from m8?

same site, £1.50 more, notice they also sell the supertalent 16gb drive for £17.99 they are also meant to be very fast

Just bear in mind that the quoted speeds are read speeds only. The key thing is write speed. How long will it take to fill those 16GB?
#5
also isnt 7cm kinda big?... well not compared to old memory stick but u know compared to the current ones?
#6
why would this be better than the 16GB Sandisk micro cruzer on Play and Amazon for £15.99?
#8
7dayshop were selling this for 15.49 last week.

Some users on HUKD who have bought the Sandisk have said it's quite slow?

Don't know haven't got one but it might be worth comparing the write speeds before buying ;-)

i bought one a few months back and its not quite 6cm, a little smaller than my other 2 sticks i use, its also rounded so fits much better in your pocket
if anyone can tell me how to test write speeds then i can test it for those that are interested

Use the benchmark tool from here:
http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/1137/ATTO_Disk_Benchmark_v2.34.html

Its only 26k in size

and to compare, a 4gb PNY Attache
http://img124.imageshack.us/img124/2982/4gbpnyattacherw4.png

so it seems quite a bit faster than my other although ive no idea if these are quick or not but i like them :)

Got near as damn it the same results on my 16GB (13.5MB/s write 30MB/s read) which is basically the same as the cheap Play branded one, shows what nonsense the 'RAPID 170x' bit is:

http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/3431735/Play-com-16GB-USB-Flash-Drive/Product.html

(Appears that it's sold under a few different names..)

1GB Kingston DataTraveler came out at 4MB/s write 13MB/s read lol

So anyone care to benchmark the Cruzer? I would like a fast 16Gb stick, and I don't mind paying a few extra pounds for it.
Thanks in advance for any further contributions on this score.

it didnt say readyboost whereas the other dane-elec i bought did, you only need 4gb for readyboost anyways so this would be a waste
i paid around £7 from the same site for my 4gb readyboost one :)
