I've not seen these before. Certainly beats the big crappy adaptors that normally come with USB keyboard and mice. Have some heat from me but I hope it doesn't send realblender into a coma!!

Since when we can post a random ebay auction as a deal? This isnt an outlet store.

Blame hotukdeal user "bob_hoskins"

Naw I don't think Bob was meaning for him to post that as a deal as well, he was just trying to make sempai106 aware that there was a better option.

As I said on the other deal, this will onlywork with some keyboards/mice.

Cold - I've tried this and they're pretty poor... some computers will work ok and some won't always detect the keyboard or mouse or only basic keyboard functions will work. They only £1.17 on Amazon so this is hardly deal of the day.

If you still need one of these I'd suggest the Belkin PS2-USB adaptor lead which is addmitedly more expensive but so much more reliable (on my Dell E520 desktop where I've tried both types)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Belkin-USB-PS-2-Adapter/dp/B0006BA2SI/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1308557217&sr=1-1

If you're lucky it'll work ok with your keyboard and mouse but if you're unlucky then it'll drive you mad.

Seems like a rather odd item to put on HUK

I've got the Belkin one as well as a cheapy, and the cheapy does not recognise some of the keys. I think they both were dropping keystrokes, or at least my typing accuracy has improved since I went over to a USB keyboard.

Aye I dunno the rules about ebay so I was just posting an opinion not an instruction to post a deal. Had no issues with my cheap one, but I used a very basic keyboard and ball mouse (more advanced functions like multimedia or hotkeys are unlikely to work and it's not surprising they don't)
