From the reviews on amazon ( USA site) , its not very fast for a USB3 drive - the read speed is fast but the write speed is slower than many USB2 drives.
There are a few reviewers who have had drive faults too.

As for the warranty - try getting on silicon power's website ( it doesn't load) . So that doesn't bode well.

I'll give it a miss.
