hum... not sure these are any good - i left 2 batteries on charge all day - light stayed red (meant to go off when charging is complete I believe)... - anyone else?

I left 2x AAA 1000mAh in over a weekend once. The did charge, but not very much as the light was still on! Worth spending a few more £s for a mains charger IMO.

waste of money, wont charge anything unless you leave it charging for 2 weeks. buy a real charger.

If this is the Uniross one, it works just fine. I have two or three, and they charge my Energizer rechargeables just fine for my 360 controller.
Light turns on to show it's charging that cell, not to show when the cell's full. Don't leave the batteries in until the red light goes out, you plonkers, because it won't go out.
Those saying they charged it for days obviously over-charged the batteries and effectively broke them, hence the low-usage you got from them thereafter.
I generally leave my batteries (1300mAh NiMH) in 8-12 hours, seems to do a decent job, especially considering how power-hungry the 360 controllers can be.

Whilst it is nice to have a positive comment (for a change :P) They are definitely NOT Uniross chargers. Nevertheless, I think the comments regarding them being useless are probably largely unfounded.

My Zen MP3 player broke down so I charge batteries for my USB stick with these. They take about 2 or 3 hours to charge and work OK. There is a one foot USB wire unlike the picture. You can get 2 AAA or AA rechargeable batteries from 99pstore too which is what I'm using. Also other items: programmable remote (rare), speaker wires, pair of stick up led lights with 3 in each, twisty camera tripod like the guerrilla-pod, pizza oven tray & smiliar, big oven china dishes, 6 large kitchen towel rolls, camping and fishing gear, bargain soaps shampoos & health/hygene, sometimes good knives and flasks and other kitchen stuff, etc. The good stuff doesn't last and some don't come back. They basically sell over stock or old stock almost given to them by others or famous brands from other EU countries shipped here which are not allowed to be sold here by the brand headquarters.
