USB Cup Warmer - £4.55 or less delivered @ Gadget Shop !

Take advantage of the £1 p&p offer and use the attached 5% or 10% discount code. Go via Quidco an additional 10% in cashback.

Description: This fantastic USB Cup Warmer is such an inherently simple idea that it really does make you wonder what took those clever accessory inventor types so long to come up with it. Perhaps they were suffering from caffeine deprivation Simply plug this little coaster into your USB port and it will heat up, keeping your cup and, more importantly, the contents of your cup warm for as long as you leave it there. Very cool indeed or should that be hot?

I keep hoping to pick one of these up at a pound shop but no joy so far... Was that at Poundland or an independent store?
#3
bought a couple of these for some colleagues for xmas - absolute dross! wouldn't even waste a pound on them. Your brew won't stay "hot", not even warm, more like tepid. And if you use a regular mug for your brew it won't fit on - you need to use a cup.

Absolutely right.
Bought one, found normal mug would not fit.
Bought a small cup and found it did not keep drink warm.
Did an experiment whereby I put an empty cup on the plate all afternoon to see if the cup warmed up, the whole cup (including the bottom) remained stone cold, although the plate on its own does get quite hot.

Complete waste of time and money:-(

Will inhibit power to other USB devices if connected. You may find one of them not working because this cup warmer is connected. Really not worth the bother.

I'll echo everyone else here , you'd keep your brew warmer by holding the cup up to the light !!! (which I'm selling for 3.99 + VAT ) ;)0

I've got one works find. Mine came with a stainless mug which keeps it nice and warm.

Bag of crap - echo what other people said - mugs don't fit onto it, and it doesn't keep them warm anyway. I gave mine away to someone I didn't like.

Not crap it works brilliantly it only works with stainless steel cups (i.e. conductors of heat)

So, you're saying that my pot mug ISN'T a heat conductor...?? and that we should be buying something like this instead...
