it is this price, look on the maplin website, it doesnt take much effort to find it.

this product is however dog dirt if you dont intend to connect it to a proper external arial.

i got one of them yesterday, having spent 3 hours messing around trying to scan channels with the supplied arial and facing all directions in the back garden, i then took an internal booster arial outside and tried with that, still nothing.
i had to connect it to the main house arial for it to find and recieve a decent signal, ideal if you want something for the pc in your house, utter rubbish if you wanted to use it on a boat ... it went back to them today as it doesnt do what it should.

these are actually ok, pick up a lot of channels on a good ariel, have nice fast channel change and have bda drivers available for them, not sure bout the w7 potential, forget the free remote for a htpc use as receiver is on the stick so unless that's in plain view.
pity the site is actually showing them as 29.99..
@brum, has your area undergone the digital switch over yet?,
lotta people **** these portable ariels off but not really fair on them when most of the uk signal is currently underpowered by 90% would be interesting to see if they are ok in a switched on area

They should work with the signal that's availible, not some ideal signal.

yes it is, when people cant be bothered looking.

i see it on here all the time, i could understand if it were some hidden link but most of the times, people seem to not just want a deal, they want to put in no effort what so ever in actually getting it and instead of spending 1 minute searching, spend the same amount of time asking someone else to search for them.

No, but it should be made clear that's the case.

not quite fair as its coming up at £29.99 for me as well so it's not just him, technical glitch?

@endlesswaves.. fair point

edit*actually just found the 24.99 one and its coming up when you search maplins for usb dvd-t, whereas before i searched or dvb-t with usb and it only came up with the one at £29.99
the 29.99 is the one i've had so ignore any comment previously lol

Just got something very similar at Aldi for £19.99 with software etc thrown in.

Agreed with the comments about external aerial being needed, can't pick anything up with mine at the moment and I am in an area that's supposed to be going fully digital next month.

I will hold out until next month and see how I get on.

I did a initial search and could not find the item at the £25 price, i later did another search and it was then visible, i guess it depends what you type in the search bar.
