save your money and use tvcatchup.com just register and you can watch most channels for free

You still need the aerial connection - if you dont have a socket you will need to buy the indoor aerial seperately. Deal is ok....in my opinion

All these streaming sites are good if you have an internet connection. These are no good out-and-about generally.

So have I, and like every other one on the market, it is USELESS without a good roof mounted aerial! Are you one a transmitter that has switched off analogue and is pumping out more power now on digital, as most are hopeless with the low powered Freeview transmissions on analogue-enabled transmitters?

A friend also has the same model, and gets nothing with the included aerial, despite just about being poked in the eye by Sutton Coldfield transmitter, although being in such a strong reception area his does get reception on a small "set top" log-periodic aerial.

The Freeview hybrid stick is also lousy for getting it to work with most 3rd party software too, even with the right drivers (which took a long time coming!) :-( I get it to work well with DVB Viewer, but have never managed to get it to work with GB-PVR yet!

btw, this is the usual Bigpockets second-hand stuff... "As New" is probably defined somewhere on the site, but if is is as new, then clearly it isn't ACTUALLY new!

Grade A - which is "new" effectively

Hi,

Anyone know what chipset these are? I need six of these for a multicasting system I'm setting up in Linux and need to know if they'll be compatible. They're usually Afatech at this price (which is fine) but I need to be sure.

Cheers!

Yes if you are outputting the signal via the ariel then it would just play through.

Thanks to cripps555, bloaty and Mecoconuts for the links to the sites streaming the UK TV channels.

I'v been a long time user of Sopcast and TV Ants for the footy but wasn't aware there was streams for UK TV.

I'll give you all some rep when I get home (work's computer won't let me, something to do with Java being disabled I think).
#27
sounds like too much of an effort for me, think i will stick to my freeview lol

These are shoite the same as Bigpockets lol

You'll need an aerial the size of a Cell Tower to pick up anything lol
